Meet Charlotte! Our sweet little Yorkie girl has made great progress since coming into rescue. She was nervous and shy, but has slowly learned to trust and is learning to enjoy affection. Charlotte is a quiet girl, and usually only barks at mealtime or when she wants your attention. She's OK with other dogs, but not too interested in interacting with them, so she would be fine as an only dog. Charlotte is not housetrained, and wears a diaper in the house as we continue with training. A new family with someone at home most of the time would help Charlotte to reach her potential, and have the happy life she deserves. She is 10 yrs old, 7 lbs, and ready for adoption. Charlotte is being fostered in the Newtown Pennsylvania area.

Amber is an affectionate yorkie who came into rescue from a puppy mill. She is fine with other dogs, but prefers the attention of her foster family. Learning how to go up and down stairs and walking on a leash are new skills Amber has learned. She does need consistent training on housebreaking, with lots of praise and reward. A home with a fenced in yard is on her wish list, as she loves to run and explore. Amber is 8 yrs old, 12 lbs, and will be a great companion for the right family.

Benji a 9yo 11lb and Romeo an 11yo 6lb are a bonded pair of Yorkie mixes. They are dog and kids 15+ friendly. They are both housebroken but Romeo wears a belly band inside since he has been known to mark. They are good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. They like to play with toys, cuddle with each other and be near their people. Benji is calm, quiet and like to be pet but not picked up, so like to lay next to his people on his terms or cuddle in his own bed with his favorite stuffed toy. Romeo is friendly, feisty, very affectionate and likes to lay on his people’s lap. Benji and Romeo are required to be adopted together since they are a bonded pair so will not be separated. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Benji and Romeo as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Benji and Romeo are neutered, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Meet Papaya! Hi there! My name is Papaya, but my foster family calls me Piyah. I’m a 3-4year-old Yorkie mix, and my foster mommy and daddy tell me all the time what a good girl I am! I have a laid-back personality and love to sleep, but don’t let that fool you—I’m always up for some treats! I get along well with dogs big and small, and once I warm up to you, I’ll be your little shadow (yes, even following you to the bathroom!). I walk well on a leash, and while I don’t love being carried, I don’t mind car rides—I usually just take a nap once I’m settled in. I’m also crate trained and find it to be a cozy little space to rest. Because I’m a little momma, I love being warm and don’t enjoy the cold or rain. I would do best in a calmer environment with a patient and kind person who will give me the time I need to be my best self. I also need another friendly dog in my home—I feel safest when I have a furry friend around, and I get anxious when left alone. Papaya is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s still working on her house training but is making great progress. She is dog and kid-friendly.
