Story
Quick Facts Name: Euni Birthday: Approximately 9 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Mix Color: Black & Gray Weight: 6 kg (~13 lbs) All About Me Hello! My name is Euni, and I’m a sweet and affectionate little pup who is ready to fill a home with love. At around 9 years old, I have the perfect balance of playful energy and calm companionship. If you’re looking for a cuddly, loving, and loyal best friend, I might just be the one for you! My Personality I absolutely love people! Whether we’ve just met or have known each other forever, I’ll be the first to come over, greet you with a wagging tail, and snuggle right into your arms. My favorite thing in the world is being held and cuddled, and I’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you have to give. When it comes to other dogs, I get along well with them but prefer the company of humans. I won’t start any trouble, but if another dog challenges me, I won’t just sit back either—I know how to stand my ground! That said, I’m generally polite and coexist well with my fellow canine friends. I have a gentle and lively spirit, and I enjoy a mix of activity and relaxation. After a nice walk or a little playtime, I’m happy to curl up and rest by your side. On My Walks I enjoy going on walks and exploring new places! I can get excited and pull on the leash a little, but I listen well and follow along nicely. My energy level is balanced—I love getting fresh air, but I also know when to settle down and relax. Life at Home I’m already doing great with potty training—I can use both indoor pee pads and go outside when needed. I also don’t mind sharing my food with people or other dogs, which makes me a great companion for a multi-pet home. My Ideal Home - A Loving & Affectionate Household: If you love snuggling and having a little shadow follow you around, I’m your girl!- Daily Walks & Gentle Exercise: I enjoy getting out and about but don’t need intense activity.- A Cozy Home: I love having a warm and comfy place to rest after a fun day. Last Message I’m a charming, affectionate, and playful pup who just wants to be loved. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion to brighten your days, I’d love to meet you! ##2301046##

Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. He His fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
"Ears Up"! Eugene, our special little black yorkie pup, just arrived in the PNW in search of a better life! Tiny (only 2.5#) and adorable, this little man is being fostered with his brother "Ears Down" after his rescue. The cruel owner had been taping their ears up with Duct Tape! All that is behind them now, they are save with us. Yorkies are oh, so smart, and also affectionate. Intuitive, outgoing and fun little dogs. Who doesn't want a cutie like Eugene to brighten their days! Eugene will be adopted with a contract and deposit to ensure neuter by 6 months of age.

Story
Good with other dogs • Food motivated • Tolerates toddlers but is nervous with fast movements Meet Tripoli, a sweet and affectionate little dog who loves to be pampered! She enjoys being brushed and bathed—she might even think of it as a spa day. Above all, she wants to be near her people and would thrive in a quiet home where she can spend her days by your side. Tripoli is spunky, courageous, and a little bit silly. She sleeps in bed with her foster at night and naps happily on the floor or couch during the day. She currently uses potty pads indoors and hasn’t been too eager to venture outside in the snow. While she’s very loving, Tripoli can be nervous around loud noises and fast movements. She paces when she’s anxious and has some separation anxiety—she becomes very distressed when she’s not near her preferred person. A calm, low-key home would be ideal for her, and she may be a great match for a retired couple or someone who is home most of the time. She has tolerated her foster’s toddler but gets nervous if there’s too much sudden movement. When visiting a friend’s house with energetic kids, she became very anxious, so she’ll be happiest in a peaceful environment. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to you, Tripoli could be the perfect fit! ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

The very gentle Santa once had a home in Korea but his owner was in the final stages of their life with cancer & decided to just leave Santa abandoned in the home by himself with no one at all. Thankfully the Korean rescue rescued our adorable Santa & placed him in a loving foster home in Korea. No one was still coming to give this boy a loving forever home. Unfortunately he still could not find a home in Korea & we were asked could we help this beautiful boy & it was our pleasure to. Santa was rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies & there is also such a great financial responsibility when rescuing these babies so we cannot begin to thank them enough. Santa was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. This soft gentle soul has been abandoned & left for dead but you would not know it with his wonderful & oh so forgiving personality. Santa has a lovely personality, he is warm, friendly & affectionate & enjoys a good outing. Did we mention you can pick this beautiful boy up & he will let you carry him? He loves to receive love & hugs & kisses. He also enjoys a windy day with the wind in his face. When Santa arrived to us he had waft appeared to be an old black scar on his right left leg from a previous injury but we will never know what happened to him there. He is doing well walking on his harness & leash & loved going on walks in Korea & does well here on his outings. He did end up having a foster home in Korea who worked with him & helped him flourish. We do know he adores dogs, he loves them & he absolutely needs another dog or dogs in the home for her to play with, this is mandatory. We currently have Santa with other dogs. Did we mention this boy loves a good outfit, well yes he does. In Korea in his foster home he always had an outfit on. He also is good with both male & females. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Santa until he went into his foster home in Korea & he loves toys, especially the squeaky toys so get the toy box ready for this sweet boy. Santa’s new forever home must have a fully fenced backyard. Santa is good with being bathed & is even good when being dried with a hairdryer. Santa rides beautifully in the car & loves a good journey, so great in the car. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lady only. Santa does not like crates & who could blame him after being abandoned the way he was in Korea. We are also looking for a forever home for Santa where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Santa is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Santa has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & does well. Santa needs to go to a forever home with another dog or dogs in the home, he really enjoys the company of other dogs & we currently have him with other dogs. This is mandatory along with a fully fenced secure backyard. Santa is roughly 9.2 lbs & has put on weight with us. When we got him, he was a little skinny. He is 6 years old & perhaps a maltese mix, what he is mixed with we are not sure, male, he is neutered had a dental/scale & polish, he had an incisor removed, he was treated for an ear infection on the outside of his ears & different parts of his body with otomax. He is microchipped, had a skin scrapping done & it was negative for anything. His left front leg has a dark pigmented spot on his leg that was from an old wound in Korea that they do not not know what happened with his previous owner. He is up to date on her shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies, treated with credelio & dewormed. We have spent far more on Santa with bringing him to the US with hid travel costs, his medical, his dental, boarding fees etc & bringing him to WA than his adoption fee covers. Santa has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but in Korea he was in a foster home with cats & could care less. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Santa was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Santa friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Santa potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Santa & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Santa who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this special sweet little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Santa has an adoption fee of $850 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.
