Story
Huey is an adorable 4-5 year-old happy-go-lucky American Bulldog/Boxer mix. Huey is excellent at all kinds of Colorado adventuring - hiking, running, camping and brewery hopping.  He's happy to crash out on the couch with his people and watch the Broncos (or Love Island, although he'll never admit it). Huey is house and crate trained, knows basic commands and is a absolute gentleman on leash. Huey LOVES kiddos and is respectful of kitties, too! Huey loves his people so much, he may prefer to be your one and only pup, but he may also do well with a well-matched dog friend. Huey is such a hilarious buddy and has the most endearing and loving personality. Huey is also a super quiet dog. His foster reports that he has never heard him bark or make much noise at all. Huey would probably be just fine in an apartment or condo setting because he is so easy and quiet but really just wants a person or family that has a lot of time to spend with him and who is looking for a cuddly, constant companion.  If you're interested in adopting Huey, please fill out an adoption application here: https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/.  Underdogs is a small volunteer-based animal rescue and we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to phone and email inquires about our adoptable animals at this time. If you're interested in learning more or setting up a meeting with one of our animals, please complete an adoption application first. It may take up to two weeks for application review and one of our coordinators will reach out to you as soon as we are through the intitial review process. We appreciate your patience and understanding! Thank you!    ##1818577##

Story
Apollo is 2 years and 3 months young. We rescued him from riverdale animal shelter when he was about a year and a half. Apollo loves running around in a yard and love walks as he is energetic and very strong . He is also very crate trained and good on a leash so he is good if you have an apartment. He plays well with other dogs I would just introduce them first if you have other dogs. He loves kids as he is a gentle giant. Apollo is very vocal and very cuddly. He craves attention and once he creates that bond with you he will never want to leave your side! Hard chew toys are a must for him but he really loves any kind of toy. The guy wants nothing more than companionship and love!

Story
Meet Baylard, a stunning American Bulldog mix with a heart full of love and a story that’s touched everyone at Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue. Baylard was adopted last year and moved to Texas, but when he developed epilepsy, his owner abandoned him at a vet’s office. We immediately arranged for his safe return to California, and now we’re determined to find him the forever home he truly deserves. Baylard is a fantastic dog with so much to offer. He’s well-trained, housebroken, and adores all people. His epilepsy is well-managed with a couple of daily pills, and as long as he stays on his medication, he’s happy, healthy, and seizure-free. The vet who cared for him confirmed he’s in great shape and has many wonderful years ahead—he just needs someone committed to giving him the consistent care he deserves. Baylard would thrive as the only pet in a home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. He’s loyal, affectionate, and ready to bring so much joy to the right person or family. If you’re looking for a loving, devoted companion and are prepared to keep up with his simple medical routine, Baylard is waiting to meet you! To adopt Baylard, please fill out an application on our website.

Story
Meet Blankets and Jack Jack, a dynamic duo of American Bulldog mixes who are ready to find their forever home together. Rescued from a high-kill shelter just before their time was up, these two are deeply bonded and have been through a lot together. Blankets is a sweet, timid female with a distinctive patch over one eye. She looks to Jack Jack for guidance and feels most secure when he’s by her side. Blankets is toy-motivated and loves to play, though she’s still adjusting to her new life and needs patience and understanding. Jack Jack, a mostly white male, is slightly more confident and treat-motivated. He’s a bit of a natural leader for Blankets and is eager to learn, though both dogs are still learning about human interaction and training. They’ll thrive in a loving, patient home where they can grow more comfortable and confident. Both dogs are around 2 years old and are looking for a caring family who can provide them with the training and support they need to flourish. With time, love, and patience, Blankets and Jack Jack will reward you with their deep affection and loyalty.
