Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday. Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in. Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down. Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. Huey is an adorable 4-5 year-old happy-go-lucky American Bulldog/Boxer mix. Huey is excellent at all kinds of Colorado adventuring - hiking, running, camping and brewery hopping. He's happy to crash out on the couch with his people and watch the Broncos (or Love Island, although he'll never admit it). Huey is house and crate trained, knows basic commands and is a absolute gentleman on leash. Huey LOVES kiddos and is respectful of kitties, too! Huey loves his people so much, he may prefer to be your one and only pup, but he may also do well with a well-matched dog friend. Huey is such a hilarious buddy and has the most endearing and loving personality. Huey is also a super quiet dog. His foster reports that he has never heard him bark or make much noise at all. Huey would probably be just fine in an apartment or condo setting because he is so easy and quiet but really just wants a person or family that has a lot of time to spend with him and who is looking for a cuddly, constant companion. Apollo is 2 years and 3 months young. We rescued him from riverdale animal shelter when he was about a year and a half. Apollo loves running around in a yard and love walks as he is energetic and very strong . He is also very crate trained and good on a leash so he is good if you have an apartment. He plays well with other dogs I would just introduce them first if you have other dogs. He loves kids as he is a gentle giant. Apollo is very vocal and very cuddly. He craves attention and once he creates that bond with you he will never want to leave your side! Hard chew toys are a must for him but he really loves any kind of toy. The guy wants nothing more than companionship and love!

Beautiful Beth is a 6-7 month old, female, American Bulldog mix. She’s a petite girl, around 30 lbs but does have some growing left to do. Beth is very good with other dogs and has won over even the most stubborn dog’s heart. She’s outgoing, friendly, and sweet to all humans she meets. Her favorite spot is snuggled up on the couch with her human and canine friends. Don’t be fooled though – this girl has moves and can get up and run around with the best of them. Beth is doing great with her house and crate training. She first entered the shelter with bilateral cherry eyes and her eyes were very irritated and swollen. She’s being treated for dry eye and it’s unclear if that will resolve on it’s own now that her swelling is down or if she will need to remain on cyclosporine and artificial tears. She takes them both like a champ, though! Christine “Chris” Farley (don’t even act like you don’t see it, too) is bootilicious, 4-5 year old, female, American Bulldog. This girl is THICC, but, as her foster mom would say, athletic. Chris LOVES to play fetch. She’d play fetch with you all day long if you’d let her. She’s a very happy-go-lucky, friendly girl and the shelter wasn’t kidding when they said she’s never had a bad day. Even when she was euthanasia listed, Chris still wore a bulldog smile! This sweet, dog friendly girl, is approximately 85 lbs. She could shed a pound or two, but is in general, a large girl. Despite being all white, she can both see and hear! Chris will sleep on a dog bed if you make her, but she’s also super happy to crawl up in bed with her foster mom and canine brother. She’s well-mannered in a home and both house and crate trained. We originally adopted Nova 8 years ago. She is an amazing, loving dog. She was our first baby but unfortunately has been unable to adapt to the birth of our (human) daughter. Nova is a very obedient dog who enjoys following commands and thrives on being told she is a good dog! She walks well on a leash. Nova loves to be the center of attention. She enjoys cuddling up on the couch and will happily snuggle with you for hours. Being pet is her favorite pastime and she is happiest when she is around her people. She does get along with other dogs, but prefers to be the only child. She is active and loves going on hikes. Nova is an excellent travel companion who behaves well in the car. She can be left home alone without any issues, as she is well-adjusted and independent. We are looking for the perfect, loving home for Nova. Greetings and salutations, Colorado, it’s me, Gonzo! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule. Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gonzo and I’m a 2-3 year-old gentle giant Boxer/American Bulldog mix buddy and I'm crossing all my paws for a hero foster or adopter. My Underdogs foster folks can only surmise that I was once somebody’s well-loved guy before I ended up in the dog clink. I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk politely on leash and lounge quietly on my dog bed. I’ll never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that I’ve never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, I’d also happily cover them in my signature Gonzo smooches. It’s also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and sweet demeanor. I'm a calm dude in the home, but I also love to go for runs, walks and hikes. Basically, I'm down for all the Colorado adventuring. I do well around other good fit dog friends, but my best fit home may be one where I'm your only four-legged best bud.
