Nova is a great dog when it comes to her people. She is a snuggly clinger, who loves to play, and hide under blankets when she gets sleepy. She is very food-motivated and loves treats. We have a black lab and they are best friends. We also have two cats, which she is quite unsure of, but tolerates anyways. Nova was a rescue from a home that did not care much about her. She came to me untrained, and highly anxious, with behavioral issues like guarding and fear of strangers. We hired a trainer, Nancy Willams, to work with Nova and I. Her behavior has improved since then, but she would benefit from more training.

Although she is still a puppy, we do not expect her to get much bigger. She will stay a medium size dog. Prudence came to the shelter with no hair, covered in scabs, and swollen paws, face, etc. She was in a great deal of pain and discomfort with extreme skin conditions that were untreated. She has been in a medical foster home since she arrived getting the care she needs. She clearly did not start her time in this world with a lot of love or care. She was scared to leave her space, didn't know what toys were, was very shy from anything new. Prudy now is growing fur, isn't a little bald girly anymore, and has been learning how to enjoy life being a dog day by day. She finally is ready to start looking for her forever home!
