Alpha has been homed with my family as a favor for a friend for 3 months now, he is very energetic and has lots of love to give. Previous owner has been made aware and is no longer willing to take back. Alpha is part of our family but unfortunately we are unable to continue to keep and provide him with enough time, attention & space for proper care. Alpha howls at the sound of sirens but with some cuddles is able to keep calm. Thinks he is a lap dog and will nap with you. Loves hugs & kisses, will get jealous if does not receive. As searching for a new loving family. Alpha would prefer a big fenced yard, lots of toys (his favorite are balls (chuckit! can be found in Petco)) and humans that are patient and will not tire of playing with him. I rescued king four years ago and what drew me in was his big dopey head and eyes. I immediately took a liking to him when we played together for the first time. I adopted him that day and we've been as thick as thieves since between 4 years, 3 apartments, and 2 exs. I hate to let him go but I can't take him with me to the next apartment and none of my peers can take him in. Now for some personality. King is a BIG cuddler, he loves being next to you all day everyday. He will give you space if you order him. On the topic of training, king is trained on all basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, and shake and he is summoned by whistling. He's also gotten kind of lazy in his older age and really just likes laying down but is always down for a walk. My FAVORITE quirk about King is that he does not bark. Phil came into my life this past April when I was asked to dog sit and his owner never picked him back up. He is such a cuddle boy and does well with other dogs at the dog park. He is entering the stage where he will try to hump and he is not neutered. He responds well to redirection and praise. He is a registered service dog. Recently I have began commuting to Baltimore and am leaving him longer than I wish. Looking for someone with a big heart who will cuddle him and let him sit on the couch and ideally has a back yard. Gypsys DNA test results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited or wants something (we now know that comes from the Boxer in her). Gypsy is around 5 years of age and weighs 70 pounds. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. We don't know why Gypsy has not been adopted yet. She is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She knows how to sit and comes when called. She is housetrained and very well behaved in the house. She likes her crate and sleeps in it with the door open. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a vehicle. Gypsy loves her toys, especially squeaky ones, and she loves playing fetch. Gypsy is active - she loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. She loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot, and we bet she would love snow. She gets excited about squirrels, cats, and critters on the other side of the fence. Gypsy normally does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She would also prefer a home without annoying toy dogs or puppies that get in her face. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. Gypsy is smart and might benefit from more obedience training from someone firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is a sweet dog. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy must be in the house as a loved family member. She must be walked on a leash and have a yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. She is now heartworm-free and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Hagerstown, Linthicum Heights, or another location close to you.
