Story
Loves walks, running, and the water! Kaja needs to be rehomed as an only dog. Has aggressive behavior towards others dogs in a home. On walks she may bark but she will quickly keep moving. I’ve tried to rehome her with another dog and it did not work out.

Story
When she looks at you with those eyes, you are lost! Pat Benatar is estimated to be about 9 months old and weighs 32 pounds. This adorable muffin is as sweet as they come, and absolutely melts when you give her the affection she craves. Pat Benatar is a friendly, wiggly girl who loves nothing more than to crawl into your lap for a hug. She can be a little unsure about some things right now though and looks to you for guidance. An adopter who can help build her confidence would be wonderful. She will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old. Pat Benatar is such a lovely puppy and is so excited to find her forever home, she will bring so much love into your life. If you are interested in Pat Benatar and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Meet Beatrice the 6yr Pit Mix! Beatrice has been in rescue for over one year and she can't wait to meet her forever family! She has the best house manners, is crate trained and she is always down to do whatever you want! She is such a sweet girl and she is so eager to please. She is the perfect mix of energetic and calm. She loves going for walks, chomping on water hoses, carrying her favorite stuffed toys around the house and taking naps on her doggy beds. We feel she would do great in almost any home. She would love a fenced backyard, but this is not required. She would also do fine with older children! Although Beatrice is almost the perfect dog in every sense, her one setback is she has proven to be quite dog selective. We have tested her with many doggy friends and unfortunately, she has only taken a liking to a few pups during her time here. Because of this dog aggression, she will require a home without any other dogs or cats. We have been working on this with her and she has made tremendous progress, although we still feel she would feel most comfortable (and it would be the safest) in a home without other animals. Does Beatrice sound like a good fit for your family? Reach out for an adoption application!
