Hello there! I’m Rumor, and I’m ready to steal your heart! I was found as a stray in an overcrowded shelter, and thankfully, Furever Tails Animal Rescue stepped in to help me find my forever home. At just 26 lbs, I’m the perfect pint-size for cuddling up on the couch or going on adventures with you. I absolutely love car rides and can’t wait to be your co-pilot on all your journeys. I get along wonderfully with other dogs that may be tolerant of my energy and often times rude greetings. I have also lived with cats in the past, and have even done well with mature dog savvy kids.
While I’m full of playful puppy energy, I also enjoy my downtime and know how to chill out after some fun. I love going for walks (although sometimes I can pull out of excitement) or playing in a securely fenced yard—just watch me shine! Funny enough, my foster family hasn’t heard me bark, so I might just be the quiet companion you’ve been looking for. As a true cuddle bug, I thrive on attention and affection, and I can’t wait to find a family who will shower me with love. For my safety, tethering isn’t suited for me, so I’d love to have a secure space to roam and play.

OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
