Story
Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. I spent the majority of my early life in an animal testing laboratory-- did you know that dogs and cats are used for animal testing, too? Despite everything that I've been through, I'm a sweet and happy girl now that Beagle Freedom Project has rescued me. Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies. Attention and being pet are necessities as well, of course! A good cuddle at the end of a long day will fill me with joy. A good treat and some cuddles are enough to motivate to learn like a pro. I love being near my favorite humans, and playing with my favorite toys. If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for your family. I prefer a home that has: A fenced yard, no other animals (I want all of your attention!), adults-only (or older children!), lots of love! My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Story
Hi, I'm Taylor, and I'm looking for a furever home! Everyone says that I am the BEST pup ever! I'm SO affectionate, loving, gentle, and sweet as can be. I love everyone I meet and get along amazingly with all other dogs, too! My journey hasn’t been easy—I was found in a laundry basket on the side of a freeway in Los Angeles during the devastating fires of January 2025, huddled with my 4 tiny newborn puppies, desperate for help. But now that I'm safe and healthy, I can't wait to find a family to call my own! When I'm not busy kissing and cuddling the humans in my life, you can find me enjoying a walk outside (I'm getting so good on a leash!) or playing with my stuffy toys and dog foster siblings. My puppies will be moving to their own adoptive homes in March of 2025-- I know that my babies will certainly find amazing homes, but my biggest wish is that someone will want to open their heart to a deserving mama like me. Could you be the loving pawrent I've always dreamed of having? My location: LOS ANGELES, CA *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Hi there! I’m Leela. I’m the sweetest little puppy ever who's looking for a furever home! I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being found in a laundry basket that had been dumped on the side of the highway during the devastating Los Angeles fires of January, 2025. Now that I’m safe in a foster home, my burn injuries have healed, and I've been growing healthy and strong! I'm affectionate, silly, cuddly, and playful. While I love all animals that I meet, I love people the most! I'd pick cuddle time with a human over playtime with my pup siblings any day! But... I do loooove to play, in typical puppy fashion! I can be very curious and independent at times, but I never wander too far, as my favorite spot is snuggled up in someone's lap. My nose looks a little bit different from the burn injuries that a sustained at just 5 days old, but everyone says that just makes me extra cute! I'll make such an amazing companion for my adopter-- could that be you? My location: LOS ANGELES, CA *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal.
