Story
Introducing Mercy! This little sweetie was rescued from an overcrowded TX shelter and made the trip to Wisconsin in hopes of finding a forever family. Mercy is a 8 month old puppy who weighs about 25 lbs. Mercy’s foster mom says she’s a mellow girl that has a sassy twist when her puppy spirit kicks in. She also calls Mercy her puppy shadow because she wants to be near her all the time. Need an audience while using the bathroom? Mercy is your girl! Mercy is also the best cuddler! When it’s nap time or bedtime, she wants to snuggle as close to you as she can get. And if that means being on top of you, she’s ok with that too. Mercy is a little shy when you first meet her. But once she’s comfortable with you, she becomes your best, most loyal friend. Mercy loves to play with other dogs and is great with kids. She is working hard on potty training and her puppy manners and she’s doing a good job but still needs some encouragement. She is not a huge fan of her crate but is learning it can be her safe place. Mercy is a puppy and does need patient reinforcement with her potty training and puppy manners. Her new family should be committed to taking the time and having the patience to teach Mercy to be the best girl she can be. Mercy is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and spayed.

Story
Henry is the sweetest, most snuggly, cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. He is about one year old and we adopted him as a playmate for our other dog. Unfortunately, after four months, we have decided that Henry really needs to be in a one dog household where he is the ruler of attention and doesn’t need to share his toys with anyone. He’s been a challenge to potty train, but we feel it’s due to having to share our attention with his puppy brother and cat siblings. It breaks our hearts to think about rehoming him, but know this is the best for him and for us. If you have room in your home for a bed hog, Henry is your fella!

Bailey is a very loving girl! She likes to play, run, and go for walks. She is very active, so she should go to a home with active family members. Also, she is trained to walk on the treadmill for those cold winter days. She is very curious and wants to check everything out. She loves to learn new things, especially if there is a treat involved. She is crate trained and house trained. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, shake, go-to-bed, and come. She gets along well with cats and other dogs and has never shown any signs of aggression.

Story
Peaches was found as a stray in Georgia and briefly ended up at a kill shelter before being rescued. Thankfully, she made her way to Cedarburg, Wisconsin, with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 10/26/24, and has been in a loving foster home ever since. Peaches is an energetic and super sweet little lady! She’s very smart and already knows how to sit, with a strong desire to learn more. She absolutely adores her foster dog siblings and enjoys both playtime and snuggling with them. Peaches is also incredibly affectionate with her humans, often following you around or curling up on the couch for a cuddle. She would make a fantastic adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking or camping. At just 35 lbs, Peaches is a petite gal, making her perfect for car rides and cozy naps on the couch. She was recently adopted but had to be returned because she got a little too excited around the cats in the house, and they weren’t as interested in playing with her. Because of this, we're now looking for a cat-free home where she can thrive. Peaches has been waiting for her forever family since our October transport, and we’re still shocked she hasn’t found them yet! She’s such a sweet, friendly, and playful pup, and we’re sure the right home is out there just waiting for her.
