Story
Hi! Dilbert is my name, and I came all the way from California to make room for the animals displaced by the wildfires. I was originally a stray and have been living the shelter life for almost a year now! I am now ready to finally find my forever family here in Wisconsin! With my sweet demeanor and charming cross-eyes, I am a total catch and would make a great companion for any family, big or small! I am friendly with everyone, fairly mellow, and wouldn't mind sharing my home with children of all ages. One thing to keep in mind though is that I am a stocky boy, so I may knock over little ones from time to time out of excitement. I have been successfully introduced to dogs in the past, but I do play hard and need to work on picking up social cues, so if I were to go home with another pup in the future, they would need to match my energy and play style. I am a lovable dude that wants nothing more than a home and family to call mine! Maybe there's a chance that could be with you! Come meet me at the shelter and see how wonderful of a boy I am! I can't wait to meet you! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.4 Age: 3yrs 2mths 0wks

Story
Bruno is this handsome boys name, he is right around 1.5 yrs old. Happy happy describes him best according to his foster. He originally came into the vets clinic as a stray and because he has such a great personality and so friendly with everyone they wanted to find him a home. He went into foster care where he is now around some other dogs and dog savvy kitties and wants to play with all of them, the only thing he does is chase the chickens around, lol. He is house trained and crate trained, walks good on a leash and is an all around good boy !! He loves to play and have fun, has a great appreciation of doggy toys to play with also. But is also a pup that can chill and relax, he is a big cuddler and hugs are an essential requirement for his new home :) He is hoping someone falls in love with his wonderful but goofy personality and wants to give him what he has always dreamed of, which is a real forever home with people to love him. Something simple in life but thus far has been so elusive for this big baby. :( Will you be the one who can show him that dreams do come true, if so an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org ask for BrunoThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. You can find information for volunteering and donations on our site as well.

Story
Introducing Mercy! This little sweetie was rescued from an overcrowded TX shelter and made the trip to Wisconsin in hopes of finding a forever family. Mercy is a 8 month old puppy who weighs about 25 lbs. Mercy’s foster mom says she’s a mellow girl that has a sassy twist when her puppy spirit kicks in. She also calls Mercy her puppy shadow because she wants to be near her all the time. Need an audience while using the bathroom? Mercy is your girl! Mercy is also the best cuddler! When it’s nap time or bedtime, she wants to snuggle as close to you as she can get. And if that means being on top of you, she’s ok with that too. Mercy is a little shy when you first meet her. But once she’s comfortable with you, she becomes your best, most loyal friend. Mercy loves to play with other dogs and is great with kids. She is working hard on potty training and her puppy manners and she’s doing a good job but still needs some encouragement. She is not a huge fan of her crate but is learning it can be her safe place. Mercy is a puppy and does need patient reinforcement with her potty training and puppy manners. Her new family should be committed to taking the time and having the patience to teach Mercy to be the best girl she can be. Mercy is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and spayed.

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on March 28th and arrive on March 29th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 2/21/2025 Dog Name: Neveah Sex: Female Estimated Breed:  American Bully mix Approximate Age: 9-10 months  Approximate Weight: 43 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: Neveah is a sweet girl who is great with kids, other animals, and people.  She has not been cat tested but likely would be respectful to their space. She has big beautiful ears and loves to play with her animal or human friends! We know she will be adopted quickly, she has such a fantastic personality, has a great smile and will steal your heart!  Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 19, 2025, 7:07 pm
