Story
I adopted Tyson from the Tri County Humane Society last March. He's 8 years old, but plenty of energy. He loves to eat and is very affectionate and loves to play. Never a shred of aggression, he loves people. Great , friendly temperament. I'm moving out of state and can't take him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Corny Collins, the sweetest little doll you’ll ever meet. Corny’s your typical puppy—full of energy, curious about everything, and ready to learn—but she’s also surprisingly low-key and low-maintenance for her age. Despite all the hustle and bustle in her foster home, which includes a young child, three dogs, and full-time working humans, Corny has taken it all in stride. She’s tolerant, easygoing, and happy to just be part of the family. Corny came into her foster’s life after they spotted a homeless man trying to find her a new home outside the Houston Zoo. He clearly loved her but couldn’t give her the care she needed, so they took her in. When she arrived, Corny had fleas, tapeworms, coccidia, and some hair loss, but she’s been on the mend and is now a healthy, happy pup. Every part of the day is enjoyable for Corny. She loves toys, food, and naps, and while she’d certainly appreciate more attention, she doesn’t demand it or become destructive if she doesn’t get it. She has an adorable bouncy run and the cutest tiny howl, making her a joy to have around. Corny spends a lot of time in her foster’s office, playing, eating, and sleeping quietly. She’s pretty independent for a young pup, though she’ll howl a little if left alone for too long. Her foster family is always home, so they’re not sure if she’d be more vocal in a totally empty house, but she’s been content so far. Corny is eager to learn and just needs someone who understands the needs of a puppy and is willing to teach her the ins and outs of being a well-rounded dog. She’s ready to thrive in a loving home that can give her the guidance and care she deserves. Corny Collins is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/23/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.* If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 8:45 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Bowser (Lenny), a sweet, goofy, playful, funny, curious, smart, friendly, energetic, and cat-friendly puppy. One day, I was chasing my tail (yes, I thought it was a squirrel), I spun so fast I ended up in a different zip code! That's how I landed with my foster. They're nice here, but I'm ready for my next adventure. I promise to fill your life with laughter, and maybe a few harmless tail-chasing incidents. I'm not just a pet, I'm a joy dispenser. Adopt me and let's create our own comedy show! Let Love Live rescues animals in Texas and many southern states.
