Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Dunkin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey there! I'm Dunkin, your future best friend and professional cuddle expert. At the ripe age of 2 1/2, I've mastered the art of being the ultimate companion. My resume includes top-notch skills in napping, fetching, and giving unconditional love. Let's dive into the deets, shall we? Who's a Good Boy? I Am! First things first, I'm on a gourmet diet of Purina Chicken & Rice—only the best for this furball. I'm super friendly with humans (big and small), other dogs, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. Yes, I'm a social butterfly! Indoor or Outdoor? I Love 'Em Both! Whether we're chilling indoors or exploring the great outdoors, I'm all in. I'm a true indoor/outdoor enthusiast. Fancy a hike? I'm your guy. More of a homebody? I'll snuggle up right next to you. And yes, I'm crate trained too, so no worries there! Cuddle Bug Extraordinaire I'm not just any regular dog; I'm a cuddle bug deluxe edition. I love naps more than a squirrel loves nuts. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy during those lazy Sunday afternoons, look no further. Dunkin is here to stay! Adventures and Playtime? Count Me In! I'm an avid hiker, a swimming champ, and a fetch pro. But, let's be real, I do have a tiny quirk—I'm not a fan of those rolling beasts called shopping carts, and loud noises and new places can be a bit spooky. But give me a little time to adjust, and I'll be the life of the party, showing off my happy, playful, and downright silly side. A Little Love Goes a Long Way!! I love rubbing up against my favorite humans (and yes, furniture too—I don't discriminate). I'm a laid-back lap dog at heart, not high strung at all. My main goal? To find a loving home where I can avoid the shelter life and be part of a family that adores me as much as I'll adore them. So, what do you say? Ready to add a sprinkle of Dunkin to your life? Let's make every day brighter...together!! Fill out my adoption application and let's start our forever friendship!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxHello to my future family! My name is Blondie and I’m looking for my Dagwood. I can’t wait to meet you and begin my non-litter life (Sunday Comics Litter). I am a confident little girl and am very friendly. I am the biggest girl of the litter and love to explore and play with all the toys that move! I make little obstacle courses I can walk and crawl over, and then start again.  I can’t wait to meet you and begin my solo puppy life! Fill out an app to meet me (or others in my litter), you won’t be disappointed! I can go “home” on my 8-week birthday! So far, life has been really good. Me and my 10 siblings were born on May 24th…mom was supposed to wait til we made it to MN, but we just couldn’t wait to be a part of the world. We arrived in MN a few days later and enjoyed a calm and inviting environment. Our foster mom does so many cool things to make sure we are good little puppies. For example, to get accustomed to different sounds, she plays music that has different sounds intermixed so we can desensitize to them. We do a lot of sensory work, such as walking and playing with lots of different textures. And we do a lot of confidence building, such as walking up and down ramps, going through tunnels, and being cheer-leaded for every everything we do. We started in the whelping room, away from all the other animals in the house. At 4 weeks, we moved to a room off the living room, so we could see and hear, but were safely behind two gates. And then we turned 6…and now we have a daytime living space in the living/dining room! There are three resident dogs here, and I love watching them and saying hi through the pen. I give the Great Pyrenees lots of kisses through the pen. The big dogs are fun to watch, and I am learning so much from them. I sleep in a smaller area and have been introduced to kennels (with the doors always open). I like to go sleep in there with some of my siblings and we all sleep soundly through the night I am really healthy, having just had my 6-week checkup. The whole litter had some Demodex prior to our first round of preventatives, but now our skin is clearing up nicely. I have had my nails trimmed about 3 times so far and did really well with my first bath. I am eating like a champ, and currently the food is IAMS puppy (from the rescue), but I get lots of treats. My favorites are frozen cubes of watermelon because it helps with the teething, but I also like Cheerios, baby carrots, and puppy popcorn.   If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //
