My Tyson is a 6 year old male Red Heeler. He absolutely loves to fetch and needs a job.I have kennel trained him.He loves being inside and laying around too.He can fetch and do some commands , shake sit lay down. Loves walks and loves to stare you down like he looks right through you. He has been neutered and had all his baby shots and has been on 3 months flea pills. He likes to nip but doesn't hurt you when he gets excited to run and chase the balls and toys thrown and will bark up a storm until you throw it.Loves to try to catch them before they hit the ground chases frisbees too. And jump in the air to catch things. He is very smart as well . He will walk beside me when I take him out to do his business and not run off . He will come back when you call his name. I would love to keep him but under changing difficult circumstances and my new landlord due to moving I can. I am looking for a new living forever home that can spend good quality time with him love him as much as I

Story
UPDATE!! Meet Rio!  This sweet boy was surrendered due to his owner not being able to provide the attention he needs and wanting better for this friendly, energetic pup.  Rio is a heeler mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 45lbs.  Rio has grown up in a home and been socialized with people and other animals. He loves his daily walks, occasional doggy daycare visits, and he'll play fetch for hours.  He is kennel trained, but is having to spend too much time in the kennel due to the busy lifestyle of the family. Rio would do best with an active family who has time to give him the attention he needs.  A bonus would be another dog buddy and/or older children. He hasn't been tested with cats.  He is utd, altered and ready for his forever home! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Story
NEWBIE ALERT!!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Bohdi! This cutie was found by a Good Samaritan and sadly his owners never claimed him. He’s an adorable Terrier/Heeler mix. He’s around 1-2 years old and weighs 25 lbs. He’s a friendly and loving little guy. He’s great with cats, dogs and kids. He’s spunky and ill of personality. A secure fence or leash walking is needed for this little one as he likes to explore. He’s doing great in the house and is an already great pup. He’s utd, hw tested and neutered. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers.
