UPDATE!! Meet Rio! This sweet boy was surrendered due to his owner not being able to provide the attention he needs and wanting better for this friendly, energetic pup. Rio is a heeler mix. He is approximately 1 year old and weighs 45lbs. Rio has grown up in a home and been socialized with people and other animals. He loves his daily walks, occasional doggy daycare visits, and he'll play fetch for hours. He is kennel trained, but is having to spend too much time in the kennel due to the busy lifestyle of the family. Rio would do best with an active family who has time to give him the attention he needs. A bonus would be another dog buddy and/or older children. He hasn't been tested with cats. He is utd, altered and ready for his forever home! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. A secure fence or leash walking is needed for this little one as he likes to explore. He’s doing great in the house and is an already great pup. He’s utd, hw tested and neutered.
