Greetings! I'm Pako, a charming 6-month-old female puppy looking to capture your heart. I'm a lively pup who enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and playing with other dogs. If you're an active individual who loves the outdoors, I'd make a wonderful companion for you. I'm a mix of Cattle Dog and Siberian Husky, which makes me a loyal and ideal family pet. Story
Vega is a 8 month old Cattle Dog mix. She is spayed, house trained, and up to date on vaccinations. Vega gets along with some dogs and cats. She isn’t great with young children but is fine with older children and adults. Vega is a highly intelligent, high energy, high drive dog. She is very focused, food motivated and easy to train. She really needs something to herd and to protect. She would thrive with chickens, goats, cows or literally anything to keep track of. She loves playing chase, tug, and going after the flirt pole, but she’s not very competitive and usually surrenders to her sister. She’s great at the obstacle course in our back yard. She knows basic obedience and more. Has an excellent recall and loves to bite at my heels while I race her on my bike. She leads the way on our creek walks and always finds the most efficient route around an obstacle. She’s got hops. She would do well with a runner or a hiker who stays off the beaten path.

Story
Pete`s journey has been nothing but inspirational. Pete first arrived at our shelter October 1st, he was a shell of a dog shut down, and terrified. For days, he sat isolated avoiding human interaction not sure who to trust. But behind those frightened eyes we knew there was a heart waiting to be healed. Our staff and volunteers didn`t give up on Pete. We spent hours sitting with him, patiently letting him learn to trust. Slowly with kindess and patience, Pete began to soften. As time passed Pete went to a one week stay foster home where he blossomed even more. He was wonderful with the other dogs and even the cat in the home. In this quiet environment, he became much more relaxed and affectionate. At the shelter Pete enjoys his daily walks, his zoomies when he steps outside his kennel and the gentle affection he gets from staff and volunteers.Pete is now 3 years old and weighs 21 pounds. His transformation is is a reminder that with patience, kindness and a little bit of time, even the most frightened souls can find their way. Pete is ready for his next adventure of finding his forever family. Interested in meeting Pete? Please visit our adoption center located at12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours(12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends). No appointment is necessaryand there is no pre-application process.*MY ADOPTION FEE WAS GRACIOUSLY SPONSORED
