Meet Dally - and check out his cute spots! Dally is a very sweet and loving boy. He LOVES attention and loves to love - he is just happy to be a dog. He loves to play with other dogs, play with toys and chomp on his bones. Dally was found adabandoned and tied up with no food, water or shelter - but he has been adjusting very well to being inside with his people and is learning how to be a very good boy. He wants nothing more than to snuggle up with his humans and tries so hard to make them happy. He is always up for an adventure! Dally is crate and house trained, but he will cry when you leave at first until he realizes someone is coming back for him. Dally took a few days to adjust to his new environment and we can expect with a transition (like with any dog) he will need some time to learn the ropes. He is also learning his basic manners and how to walk nicely on a leash. Dally is very athletic! So much so, he can jump a 4ft fence. Don't worry, he does just fine leashed outside - or a 6ft privacy fence would keep him contained! Dally does well with cats. He just wants to be friends. The more friends he has, the better! Dally would thrive in training classes - he is super smart and loves to learn! This boy deserves the very best. Can you give him a home for the holidays? Hi! My name is Ozzy and I am from Texas. From his foster: He loves taking naps, going for car rides, walks, or just hanging out with his humans. He is doing very well with potty training and crate training. From the vet team: After coming into rescue, it was discovered that I had a serious heart murmur. An echocardiogram with the University of Minnesota Cardiology determined that the cause of my murmur was 2 heart defects. PDA (Patent ductus arteriosus - a defect that causes the ductus arteriosus to not close properly at birth) and pulmonic stenosis (a narrowing of the pulmonic valve). I had heart surgery where a device was placed in my artery to close the hole caused by the PDA defect. I have a recheck echocardiogram in February to determine if a balloon valvuloplasty surgery is necessary. While I am still a puppy my family will want to keep a close eye on me and give me lots of breaks if my heart ever becomes too rapid or labored. Should I ever experience irregular respiration, extreme lethargy or fluid buildup in my abdomen this may require emergency care. TBB will agree to cover my recheck along with the balloon valvuloplasty surgery if recommended at that 3 month recheck scheduled in Feb 2025. Because of these heart conditions they also advised that any elective surgeries such as a neuter be delayed until after that recheck. TBB will agree to cover my neuter procedure if completed at TBB or an approved veterinary partner.

Hi! My name is Shindig and I am from Arkansas. From his foster: Shindig is probably the cuddliest puppy we have ever fostered! He LOVES CUDDLES, and LOVES kids! If you sit on the floor (or couch) he immediately wants to be in your lap. If you don't leave enough room on your lap, he will curl up behind in you in your chair. He also LOVES toys and playing both inside and out. He does great with dogs, cats, and kids! He loves to wrestle, tug, and play with other dogs, but after a good round of zoomies flops down for a nap. He loves to follow a kiddo around the house and does great with being "manhandled." Crate training is going super well, he may just voice his displeasure for a little bit when you leave him home alone. He sleeps in a crate in our room overnight without a peep and sleeps through the night! As far as potty training, he is doing great on a schedule and comes running for his treat when he's finished his business. He has been learning to ring the bell on the door to signal he has to go out, but he's not 100% solid yet and may have an accident or two, but he is smart and learning quick! If you're ready for puppy snuggles and shenanigans, Shindig will make a great addition to your family! From the Vet: Shindig has a condition called color dilution alopecia. He will live with some level of hair loss his whole life, but this is not something that needs medical management at this time.
