He has been in a foster home for a week and showing us what a good boy he is at being house and kennel trained. Toby is smart, calm, appreciates a routine, uses the doggy door and sleeps in his kennel like a champ. He gets along with other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats or children so those interactions are unknown at this time. Toby, though camera shy, has a great smile. We do not know about his earlier life and though he might be missing the familiar faces, places and humans, he is proving to be resilient and adjusting well to his new surroundings and kind humans. H e is such a good boy and ready for his forever family. Approximate Birthdate: July 2018 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. For more information please fill out an application.
