MILO IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR ONE OF OUR PARTNER RESCUES. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING MILO, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION AT kcpaws.org AND WE WILL FOWARD YOUR APPLICATION TO THE RESCUE. link to application: https://form.jotform.com/230296113596155 Milo is about 30 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! If you are interested in learning more about me, apply to meet me today! August 19, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Meet Tito, a lovable and playful pup with a heart of gold, eagerly seeking his forever home where he can thrive with love and attention. Despite a challenging start in life, Tito has shown incredible resilience and a zest for making each day count. At 9 months old, Tito is a heeler mix who has made strides in kennel and house training, though he'll appreciate a patient family willing to help him adjust to a new routine. Tito is a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, making him a great companion for canine playdates. While he's curious about cats, Tito would do best in a home with breed experience or without cats to ensure everyone's comfort. With his boundless energy and love for the outdoors, Tito dreams of a yard or farm where he can romp and explore to his heart's content. He's an ideal match for a family that enjoys staying active and can provide him with plenty of outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a sweet and spirited addition to your family, Tito is ready to shower you with affection and fill your days with joy. Bring this resilient little guy into your life, and watch him blossom into the loving companion he's destined to be. Tito's adoption fee is $250 fee includes his vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm prevention. To meet Tito, submit an application at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog.

Story
Cami is a fairly new member of The Pet Connection's team. She's around eight years old and is a very polite house guest as she already knows to do her business outside. She is such a sweet, shy girl who wants desperately to be loved. It's going to take her a while to trust people and she'd appreciate a quiet home where there aren't a bunch of visitors coming and going. She also prefers to be your one and only pooch, if you don't mind. She promises to love you to the moon and back, though! Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info on Cami. She's staying with us in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #adoptdontshop #socute #happy

Story
Abby girl has lost the only home she's ever known. Her mama went to assisted living and her dad could no longer care for her. We promised that we'd find their baby a new home. Abby was adopted as a puppy from a rescue in Oklahoma in 2016 and turned eight in March. She was so frightened and shut down when she came to stay with us at The Pet Connection. But what we've learned about Abby since she joined us a few months ago has been delightful. It started with Abby being a little bit silly with her favorite green rubber toy and now she's a master fetcher in the play yards, with full-on wiggle butts when she sees people she knows! The girl's got some moves! She can still be a little shy at first, but the way to Abby's heart is definitely through her stomach--hot dogs and chicken being the preferred treats. They help her overcome her fears of just about anything. :) What Abby really needs now, though, is to be in a home, with a person or family, to experience the routine of a regular day with people who love her again. Once you meet Abby, you just might find that you need her as much as she needs you! Please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information on Abby. She's in the KC metro, but transport is available to the right home. #thepetconnection #seniorsrule
