Story
This precious girl came from one of the worst hoarding situations that we have ever dealt with. there were over 100 dogs on the property, none of them spayed or neutered. Finally, the authorities went in and they managed to get ALL of the dogs out of there. Filthy dirty situation, sick puppies, you name it. We choose to take Blossom home to our rescue because her eyes were begging us for love and attention. She was very pregnant and two weeks after arriving, she gave birth to 7 heathy puppies! Every single puppy was different, every singe puppy had a different daddy! We think that Blossom had never been paid any attention to because she was so shy. Once we weaned her babies we took her out of the nursery and into the house where she just blossomed! That's how she got her name! Her puppies have long since been adopted and now it's her turn. We actually did a DNA on her and it came back with 4 different breeds, which we kind of figured from the beginning. Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Pit Bull, Boxer. Yes, she is truly a "Mutt!. She is extremely smart and will do anything for a treat. I want her to have a nice fenced yard with lots of room to run. Cattle dogs are working dogs and they need lots of exercise! She is spayed, crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and house broken, truly a gem! Ready for immediate transport. ADOPTION FEE $400 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION!

Story
This handsome red heeler mix puppy is called Ernie and he and his brother Bert and their mom were found in a barn where they had been raised by their stray mother. Their mother was barely hanging on to life. The happy ending to her story is she is living with a wonderful family now and is loved and Ernie is looking for a wonderful family too raise him, love him, and bring his own special joy to. Ernie is a really delightful and well adjusted 6-month-old puppy that weighs 26 lb. He is a friendly little guy that enjoys meeting people and loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you. His innocence and love for life is contagious. He craves being with people that like him and speak kind words to him. He will crawl in your lap and be your best little buddy. His foster mom who raised he and his brother Bert says that he has the best temperament and personality. Recently this little guy went to a yoga class at the YMCA and had so much fun. It was a totally new and unique environment and he handled it with great poise and embraced all of the Zen vibes going on. Ernie is housebroken, crate trained, loves being around other cats and dogs alike and adores children. There isn't a living creature on this earth that he doesn't like. He is learning quite well,  how to walk on a leash and he rides in a car like a pro. He would be a great dog to take for hikes, long walks, outdoor events and adventures, and of course he would be a hit at any family reunions. Ernie is ready to call a family and their home his very own. If you are interested in making Ernie your perfect little sidekick in life, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 12:57 pm

My name is Cancun and I am a little 3 month  old red Heeler mix pup that is just as cute and fun as you can imagine from my looks.  I am 12 pounds and was just neutered last week and completed all of my shots and wormings and am fully ready to spread my wings and find my own dog pad in this world.  My foster mom found me and my sister and brother on her front porch steps in a box and she never knew who left us there. She said that word is out that she has a big heart and does rescue work.  Well I am thankful for her and what kind of care she has given us.  I love other dogs, adore cats and I am a great little guy to play with people at all times. I am working on potty training but as you can guess I am not there yet because I am too young.  I need leash training and I do understand about crates and why I have to love being in one.   If you are interested in me please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   I will be a 25-30 pound boy when I grow up.  Just the perfect smallish medium boy that will have lots of positive energy and lots of smarts!  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 16, 2025, 8:33 pm

Story
Alfie is just the sweetest boy who is only 10 months old, weighs 48 pounds and has overcome so much in his young life.  This boy has overcome such a deep shyness with meeting new people and his foster mom has helped him learn confidence and the acceptance of affection from people.   He is a kind and sweet dog that is a medium energy, a kind spirit and good with other creatures in his life.  He is good with cats, dogs and just needs a slow introduction with new people. He loves his walks on the leash in the neighborhood and they have helped him build such a confidence that he never had when he first came to Critter Cavalry Rescue.  He is a Blue Heeler mix and we think he is oh so handsome.  Alfie is going to be a special rescue dog for someone.  Someone with patience and the desire to see a dog blossom every day in to a radiant soul that will make you the center of his universe and love.  If you would like to consider this boy please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 17, 2025, 1:39 pm

Story
This pretty little blue healer girl is only 8 to 9 months old and weighs 22 -25  pounds, with a little more to grow.  We have named her Blue  Lacey, and we think her adult weight will be somewhere between 25-30 pounds tops. She and her sister Blue Sierra were found as strays, wandering on an expansive farm property in Middle Tennessee.  The girls had no collars, and were cold and hungry.  Blue Lacey is a beautiful girl that is a 'people pleaser'.  She will follow you like a little shadow and try to do whatever you ask her to do.   She is a smart and strong personality like the Heeler breed embodies.  We are looking for someone with herding breed experience and appreciates her intelligence, her desire to do fun and challenging things daily and the intense devotion to a person or family.  There is a need to exercise every day to stay on top of her best physical needs and mental stimulation.  This girl is beautiful inside and out and she is available now if you contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2025, 9:45 pm

Story
Minnie is a 2-year-old mixed breed with a heart full of love, weighing in at 33.8 pounds. She’s spent most of her life in Kentucky, waiting for a chance at a better life, and now she’s making the long journey to New Jersey, hoping to find her forever family. Her soulful eyes carry the sadness of a past that’s left her yearning for more, but she still believes in the kindness of people. Despite her uncertain start, Minnie has a gentle, loving spirit that shines through. She’s ready to put her trust in someone who will show her the love and care she deserves. This sweet girl has known the ache of longing for a family, and while she’s still a little unsure of the world, her heart is open and eager to love. Minnie’s sweetness is undeniable; she’s kind, quiet, and just wants to be close to someone who will cherish her. She’s a bit shy at first, but once you gain her trust, she’ll be your devoted companion, always by your side. She might have had a rough start, but Minnie is full of hope that her future will be brighter.  Minnie will be spayed and up to date on all her vaccines before she arrives in New Jersey. She’s ready for a fresh start and is hoping to find a family who will show her the patience, love, and affection she’s been waiting for. If you can offer her the stability she craves, Minnie will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love. Apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Story
Have you met Carmela yet? According to her foster, she’s a “lush for attention.”. She adores receiving belly rubs and pets of any kind. She is a bit shy at first, but will quickly warm up and will do best with someone who can give her a little bit of extra one on one time and socialization. Her foster says she is a total sweetheart who is very eager to please. She’s also quick to learn new things and loves receiving praise…and did we mention pets?!? Yes, she will do anything for a good petting session which is ideal for training! She adores playing fetch and is always eager to make you smile. Our best guess on her breed is some type of cattle-dog mix. Carmela and her bother were seized by a sheriff in Texas when their owner was evicted from her rental property. The owner was a hoarder and the dogs and cats on her property were found in a state of absolutely terrible neglect. Luckily that hasn’t impacted sweet Carmela’s personality. So if you are looking for a pup who aims to please you, then Carmela is your girl. Carmela is currently about 40 pounds, and we guess her to be about 10 months old (as of February). Carmela is in foster care in Texas but will be transported to NJ upon adoption. Story
Butterscotch is a young boy, who is estimated to be around 10 months old (as of February). He is still a bit on the timid and cautious side around humans, but he is quickly learning that we are here to help him. Butterscotch would do best with an adopter who can dedicate some time and patience to help him come out of his shell through some one-on-one attention and gentle socialization. His sister Carmela is super friendly so we predict that Butterscotch will open up in no time. Our best guess on his breed is some type of cattle dog mix. His mom looks like a cattle dog and dad looks like a shep/rhodesian mix so we are guessing he will be around 70 pounds when fully grown. Butterscotch and Carmela were recently seized by a sheriff in Texas when their owner was evicted from her rental property. She was a hoarder and the dogs and cats on her property were found in a state of absolutely terrible neglect. Please help Butterscotch find his forever home, so he can have the happy story tale ending he so deserves. Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 27, 2025, 10:05 pm
