Story
Contact my foster parent at: jillstassel@gmail.comMy name is Toby!A few things about me:-I love dogs! I enjoy playing and getting rowdy with a friend. -I am a big fan of all toys. Squeaky toys are great for fetch (although I do enjoy a good game of ‘no take, only throw’). Tug of war is also a favorite. -I am crate trained! I sleep quietly in my crate all night -I am potty trained! -I am a medium energy young dog who loves to play, take a walk, and chew a bone but will happily snooze on the floor after some fun. -I love to climb into your lap and sit on you (I like to think I’m a little dog). I am a big snuggle bug. -Butt scratches and nose scratches are my fav -I’m still learning how to walk on a leash without pulling but am making stellar progress!-I know sit, down, & shake!-I can be a little rowdy when I play, so I’d do best in a home with older kids -I would not do well in a home with cats -I would make a great family dog! I am a lot of fun.

Story
Cora was born October 26, 2022 and what a beauty. She does well with all adults here and has been around children with no problems. She is energetic and playful which is typical of this working breed once she gets to know you. Cora has the typical shyness of strangers that comes with the breed and may not come running to you when you visit but we have had no nippy issues with her. She loves the guys that clean the kennels and loves to snuggle with them. She would do best with room to run. She is okay with some dogs but not others. So, a home with no other dogs may be best for now. She has not been around cats and we can't offer an opinion on how she is with cats. She is house and crate trained, walks on a leash and knows basic commands. We think she would do best with an adult home right now that is a bit on the quiet side and that has patience while she adjusts to her new surroundings. A country home would be awesome! Cora is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. That is also where our most current list of adoptable pets is located. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 18, 2025, 1:00 pm

Story
Samson is an extremely loving dog but has recently developed some aggression issues with our other healer. We have tried a number of things but it seems that after 5 years together, something has happened with their relationship. Samson has no bite history and would make an excellent dog in an only pet home - with the right person that has the time to give him the attention that he deserves. He is a leaner, a lover, and just wants attention! In addition, we will be relocating our farm in the next several months and will be in temporary housing with will not be conducive for success with our dogs. Please, serious inquiries only and Samson looks forward to meeting you!

Story
ot rehoming a pet that belongs to me. I am trying to find a home for a stray that has been in my care. This poor pup needs a good home. I thought I had found a home for this beautiful boy and I had removed the post, but unfortunately she is unable to take the dog afterall. This boy is a stray that I picked up on Feb. 11. Through the help of animal control, they were able to locate the owner. She had left the dog with another person and he ran away. She herself is unable to keep the dog. She has relinguished the dog in order to find him a new home. Here is what I know about him: He is a 1 yo male, neutered. He is good on a leash and riding in a car. He is dog friendly (one dog bit his ear and he did not do anything) and good with kids. He would be best if he was adopted by someone who had a yard and another dog. I thought he was a shepherd mix, but after researching, I believe he is an Australian Kelpie and I would not be surprised if he was pure after doing research and looking at all
