Story
Gregory, the charming hound mix, captivates all who meet him with his striking white and red coat and endearing personality. He is very friendly towards both people and other dogs, and he has many doggy friends at the shelter. His impeccable leash manners and love for outdoor adventures make him a delightful companion for walks and explorations, his boundless energy and playful spirit shining through as he eagerly explores the world around him! Sweet Gregory can be a bit timid and shy at times, making him best suited to live with adults and older children. He also loves his people so deeply that he struggles when left alone, something he can overcome with patience and understanding from his adopters. We think Gregory will thrive in a low-traffic home with a loving family, and perhaps a canine sibling to play with! He is cute as a button and has so much affection to give; he will certainly be a devoted companion to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.

Story
Introducing Melody, a dog who's passion for fetch is unmatched. She absolutely loves any game involving a ball or stick and will bring it right back to you. Melody also has a fondness for water, always asking to be sprayed with the hose and splashing in the pool. Melody passed her cat test, a bit fearful but overall had good interactions with our cats. Melody does best without any other canine companions, she likes to soak up all the attention on her own. She is great on a leash and is housebroken! Although Melody is six years old she still has some energy in her and can be a bit jumpy. Because of her playfulness we recommend her going into a home with children no younger than 6 years old. If you are looking for an older dog who loves the outdoors Melody could be the right fit for you!

Story
Simon’s mother was found in a rural area we help and she was clearly pregnant. She was picked up by animal control and taken to a shelter. The shelters we help are all outdoors and it was very cold. We knew her puppies wouldn’t survive if she gave birth in the shelter. Thankfully, an awesome foster agreed to take the mama into her home so she and her puppies would be safe. Now, Simon and his siblings are 7 weeks old and they’re ready to find families of their own. They have been raised with their mama and caring people, so they’re happy healthy pups. Simon has been with cats, adult dogs, children and even farm animals as she’s grown. He is playful, crate trained and is learning to potty outside. His mama weighs 33 pounds so we think he’ll be medium sized when he is full grown. His mama is a Cattle dog mix, but we don’t know anything about the daddy dog. Simon has been vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. He will arrive in the PNW on 2/19. Story
River is a sweet and strong minded red heeler. We found river down in a river bank near a texas state park. she came up to us and wanted to play with our other dog which is coincidentally a red heeler as well. we took her home and got her cleaned up. she was in pretty bad shape being that she was living in the woods. she was covered in fleas and ticks. she had cactus thorns all over her and a broken tail. yet she was patient and let us pick every thing off of her. she enjoys quick paced jogs and adventurous hikes. River is from the wilderness and will want to chase after other wild life, redirection is best. River, is simply a loyal dog and is willing to do anything with you and for you. unfortunately we cannot keep river due to us expanding our family. our babies have severe allergies to pets. also I cannot focus on giving river the time, attention and love she needs. please feel free to ask any questions. I really would like to know River is going to a great home.
