That’s me, Calypso Jane! My favorite things are to chase after my foster brother, be anywhere near my foster mom, and chew on my favorite toys. My breed is notorious for intelligence and high energy, so my fur-ever family should be active to and willing to keep me engaged through exercise and training. I’ve come a long way in my puppy training! I’m fully housetrained, crate trained for night and when my foster mom is away from home, and I’m very good at sitting, waiting for my food and to be let out of my crate, and even getting good at giving high-fives! I’m still working on jumping and my puppy nipping. I love my foster brother and any other dogs I meet, but I can sometimes be too much for them, so any dog in my fur-ever home should be able to tolerate my puppy antics. I do best with younger, larger dogs as I've not been around too many small or older friends. I haven’t been around cats a ton in my little life, but I like to think of them as a big toy, so it would be best if they have a place to get away from me when I get a little riled up. I love all people I meet and kids are no exception! But since I'm still working on my jumping, any tiny human in my home should be a little older so no one accidentally gets hurt. I've already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and micro-chipped. Adoption Process: Step 1:    Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Meet the  C Litter! They are  Aussie/Heeler mix es . Currently weigh 6-9lbs  and  best guess will be 40-45lbs full grown . A  Blue Heeler Crossed with  an  Australian Shepherd is  highly active . Being a  herding dog , it is a given that they are born with high levels of energy. They will need highly physical activities and more extended minutes of daily walking time. If they become bored, they might become destructive inside the house.  If you think this is a good fit for your family apply now  because they will not last! April 2, 2025, 7:22 pm

Story
Nebula, a truly beautiful dog. While her past holds some hardship – she was found living on the streets with her seven puppies – her spirit shines through. Nebula is a sweet and beautiful girl, possessing a gentle nature that will blossom with the right amount of patience and understanding. Nebula's intelligence is evident in her quick grasp of commands. She's already house-trained and crate-trained, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt. She enjoys walks immensely, exhibiting a calm and easy-going temperament. What Nebula truly desires is a loving home where she can finally feel safe and secure. While her street life has made her initially cautious around new people, once she builds trust, her playful puppy-like energy resurfaces. It's a beautiful transformation to witness. We believe Nebula would thrive in a quiet and patient home, ideally with someone experienced in working with dogs who have experienced trauma. With the right care, she'll become the most loyal and loving companion imaginable. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula and potentially offering her a loving forever home, please don't hesitate to contact us. $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.
