Story
Meet Harry!Harry is a gentle,7-year-old Australian Shepherd looking for a loving home to help him heal and thrive. Harry is a special soul. He lost his mom very unexpectedly, and he has been living in confusion and fear. Thankfully, after some time, he’s opening up to trusting new people and enjoying all the love he is receiving. He is a middle age mature man. He would do best in a quiet home. This mellow guy is as sweet as they come. He’s crate-trained, housetrained, and great with big and small dogs. Having another dog in the home could help him open up even more. While timid with strangers, he would not do well in a home with young children. He’s low-energy and enjoys quiet companionship, But he would also enjoy hikes with his people as he still has plenty of spunk left him. Harry recently tested negative for heartworms. He’s up to date on all vaccines and preventions. He also had his teeth cleaned where he received several extractions. He’s healed and ready to head to New England to find his happy ending.Name: HarryBreed: Australian Shepherd/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 7 years  (estimated)Weight: 70lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $450.00  Location of dog currently:    New England 3/8 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Hazel was born in Colorado from a litter of 10! Shes a country gal. She loves the fresh air and open fields. Just like her mom and dad, Hazel loves to play tug and fetch. You can see her thinking and processing everything around her. She is so so smart. She need a home that can keep her mentally and physically sharp. I am going to medical school in the fall and will no longer be able to give her the life she deserves. This is the hardest thing I ever had to do. She is perfect. She is sweet and kind. She is gentle and thoughtful. She has so much potential to be a service animal or herding dog. She has changed my life and it breaks me that I can’t bring her along. We went on a 33 hour road trip across the country together. She loves the car and pup cups from Starbucks. Shes spoiled unfortunately, in my eyes she has always deserved the best. Please help get her somewhere safe. I need to know she is going to be okay

Story
Teddy is a wonderful dog and we are sad to see him go. Unfortunately, we just cannot provide the level of care that he needs. He is very sweet and mild tempered very tolerable of other pets and children. He has grown up with a toddler. He does a slow introduction to other animals, and he gets very excited he barks at approaching strangers but is very friendly when he meets others at the park, etc. his bad habits I would say our counter surfing leash pulling and jumping up on people, but he just gets so excited and so much love and attention is very high energy so best for family that goes to the beach, hiking dog park, etc. He’s really a very sweet boy. We will miss him.
