Story
Teddy is a wonderful dog and we are sad to see him go. Unfortunately, we just cannot provide the level of care that he needs. He is very sweet and mild tempered very tolerable of other pets and children. He has grown up with a toddler. He does a slow introduction to other animals, and he gets very excited he barks at approaching strangers but is very friendly when he meets others at the park, etc. his bad habits I would say our counter surfing leash pulling and jumping up on people, but he just gets so excited and so much love and attention is very high energy so best for family that goes to the beach, hiking dog park, etc. He’s really a very sweet boy. We will miss him.

Story
Meet Jenny: A Work-in-Progress with the Biggest Heart!!This sweet girl was found with another male dog, quite undernourished, by a mail lady on a dead end road in Arkansas. After gaining their trust, she was able to bring both to rescue and then to a local foster home.Jenny started her foster journey anxious and unsure, but she’s made remarkable progress in a short time. Initially nervous and constantly in motion, she now enjoys playing, snuggling, and relaxing with her foster family—including a four-year-old child. While she’s still high-energy, regular exercise and patience will help her continue to thrive.Jenny is crate-trained, house-trained, and great with other animals, including dog-savvy cats. She loves car rides, walks well on a leash, and is friendly when meeting new dogs. Though she’s still working on recall and navigating new places, she doesn’t dart for open doors and enjoys exploring. This playful, affectionate pup with her adorable bobbed tail is looking for a loving adopter to help her grow in confidence and embrace the stability of a forever home. Jenny’s potential is as big as her heart—apply today and see the amazing companion she can become!Check out some videos of this special gal:https://youtu.be/wRbA84ch38khttps://youtu.be/7n7fIGkgidU?si=C7f6lxTlIOycxadGhttps://youtu.be/wRbA84ch38k?si=3FokKgEShMI508BEhttps://youtu.be/XgyC1flzpQI?si=YNaf14Py99T6adPRName: JennyBreed: Australian Shepherd/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 30.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: Dog SavvyAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Texarkana TxIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Rivers is an Australian Shepherd- likely a mini as he is small. He was born in July 2024. He is very sweet and very loving with everyone including other dogs. In general, Aussies are active yet easy-going dogs that love to romp with children. They tend to get along well with other pets. The breed is considered highly intelligent and easy to train. Aussies are known for being especially eager to please their owners. They require daily exercise and would love to play with interactive enrichments puzzles or toys. Rivers is being fostered in Louisiana, but I would love to do a FaceTime call for approved adopter. Please consider this stunning boy as an addition to your family. Adoption Fee: $620w. Transport Adoptions Breakdown Adoption Fee: $395 Transport Fee: $225 Additional quarantine Fee: $ 155 if MA or NH resident or fostered in those states Apply Today https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScTORoCzcVe8_f4NnKCiQIGyVDOFXX108Oyt3T-U_rIfaxj0g/viewform

Story
Meet Sprinkles   Sprinkles is a playful and loving bundle of energy who is ready to find her forever family! This spunky girl has a zest for life and a personality that will brighten any home. While Sprinkles has plenty of love to give, she will thrive in a home that understands her needs and is ready to commit to her ongoing training.   Sprinkles is also incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a special talent for cuddling. She loves to curl up on the couch with her foster family during TV time, often resting her head on a lap. She enjoys being around people and has been wonderful with her foster’s kids, even when they’re loud and goofy.   Quick Facts About Sprinkles:     •    Potty Training: Sprinkles is still working on her potty training. She knows to go outside but will need consistency, patience, and reminders as she continues to learn.     •    Good with Other Pets: Sprinkles has had mixed experiences with cats. While she lived peacefully with a cat in her Texas foster home, she has not been getting along with her current foster’s cat. Careful introductions and compatibility will be key. She gets along well with certain dogs and loves to play but may not match with every canine personality.     •    Kid-Friendly: Sprinkles was exposed daily to kids aged 9–12 in her Texas foster home and did well with them. She has also done well with her current foster’s children, even when they’re being loud and silly. While she has not shown aggression toward people, she will do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect her boundaries.     •    Leash Skills: Sprinkles is working on her leash manners. She tends to lunge at cars, bikes, and sometimes people, so she will benefit from ongoing leash training with a committed owner or professional trainer.     •    Crate Trained: She does well in her crate and will benefit from being crated when left alone until she matures.     •    Energy Level: Sprinkles has high energy and will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy and balanced.   Personality and Charm:   Sprinkles greets the world with boundless excitement! She’s affectionate and occasionally bouncy when meeting new people, but that just adds to her charm and eagerness to make friends. Her playful nature ensures she brings joy and liveliness to any home. She also has a softer side, loving nothing more than to cuddle and spend quality time with her people.   Ideal Home:   Sprinkles needs a home with experience handling high-energy dogs and a commitment to ongoing training. She would do best with active adopters who have a large, secure yard for her to run and play. Apartment living is not ideal for her unless her family is highly dedicated to her exercise and training needs. A home without cats or with slow, careful introductions would be ideal, and adopters should be comfortable continuing her work with other dogs to ensure compatibility.   If you’re ready to invest in a loving, playful companion who will keep you on your toes—and curl up on the couch for a cuddle afterward—apply to adopt Sprinkles today!     is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
