Story
❄️ FROSTBITE ❄️ Frosty is a not-so mini- mini australian shepherd weighing 42lbs (though she could stand to lose a bit of weight!). She's 5 years old and despite being used as a commodity her whole life, she's an absolute lover and wants to trust people. She can't wait for her forever home! We are still getting to know her, and she's a little nervous at first, but she's going to warm up into a family we just know it! She is great with other dogs, and seems like she'll be totally fine with kids. She hasn't been tested with cats. This Winter crew just arrived 1/22/25 so we don’t have much info yet, but we will update information as we learn about each pup. All of our pups will be fixed prior to adoption. They are currently living in temporary foster homes until they get fixed/find their forever homes. Our fosters will update us soon with pictures and bios. Many of these pups are shy at first as they have had a major change and are living inside a home with a family for the first time. They will need work on potty training, crate training, walking on a leash and basic commands. Check out our Facebook page for more information including our up coming adoption events in Brighton, MI. https://www.facebook.com/sgdhrescue?mibextid=LQQJ4d Sorry, we do not get message through Petfinder.

Story
She is just under 1 years old. She is fostered with big dogs (Great Dane) and lots of little dogs, also cat friendly. A bit shy of men at first until she gets to know them. Poppy has been spayed and up to date on vaccines, on prevention and given great Veterinary care. As just a puppy - she is new to being on a leash and pulls from it so her foster is working with her on her. She is mostly house trained and follows the dog pack around. She needs a family to continue to socialize her and help her grow. Appears to be a mix of a Collie or Australian Shepard. Expected to be a medium sized adult dog with medium to long hair requiring regard grooming. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org Fostered in Texas. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Sissi is the sweetest Australian Shepherd. She loves being petted, going for walks, playing catch and having her belly rubbed. She is a great watch dog and very loyal. I am so sad to be rehoming her, but she needs more attention than I am able to provide right now.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Pinckney, MI Meet Cooper! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Cooper is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats. No dogs, due to his reactivity! Cooper is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because he is aggressive towards their other dog. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Cooper, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Cooper. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Susie is a beautiful Aussie mix. She is a 1 year old and is 40lbs. Susie is fearful when meeting new people and takes time to be comfortable. She does jump up on people when she is happy to see them. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She does love to chew Nyla bones and antlers. She will bark when someone comes to the door and she sees things in the yard. She is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Susie will chase cats when they run and may try and play rough with them. She is an active dog but calms down in the house..Susie would love a fenced in yard to play in. She will bark at things she sees went outside in the yard. She would not do good in an apartment.Susie would be a great family dog. HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
