She likes people so much that she pees a little because she's so happy when people pats her.🤣 * With Dogs: she plays with other dogs actively. So she likes a dog with similar energy. * Hygiene: she takes baths gently. * Walks: she enjoys going on walks so pulls the leash a little. She's being on training for it. * Car sickness: she rides well in the car without showing signs of sickness! * She is very intelligent and quick-witted. Shows no aggression and enjoys being petted when it was done slowly. Displays her affection, following people when she gets used to them. * Interaction with Dogs: Is a bit shy when she encounters other dogs but is doing well without big reaction. * Interaction with Cats: It is unclear since she has not met other cat somewhere near. * Separation Anxiety: Has been much improved with training. Constant training will reduce more her separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Prefers to go outdoor for potty but uses pee pads well when she can not go out. * Hygiene: Cooperates well with bathing, brushing and toenail trimming. * Walks: Is professional without pulling on the leash. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Riley (TN) is a 2-3 year male Australian Shepherd blend (as of June 2023). Our veterinary partner estimated that Riley was 2 years old at the time of intake in October 2022. Riley is good with people and great with other animals. Riley is a very sweet boy who doesn't let his impairments get in his way. He is such a special fella! You see, Riley, is deaf and has limited sight. But no fears, that doesn't slow him down. He is well adjusted and a very happy boy! He is a fun loving fella who prefers to be with his person rather than be left alone in his crate. We suppose that is likely due mostly to the fact that he is sight and hearing impaired. If you would like very handsome Riley to flourish in your home as part of your family, please apply online to adopt Riley (TN) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and such a good boy!
