Story
Brownie was born August 12, 2022, we kept her along with her sister Buttercup. She is an outstanding and an amazing dog who loves to run and play all day. Shehas not found a toy that is as lovable as she is. She loves to cuddle in bed and give kisses for attention. Unfortunately, we have too many females in the house and with our large dog (Mastiff) which is older - our Mastiff has started to fight for dominance, Brownie has become of age and hierarchy issue. We thought it would be okay because she was born with us in the house and our Mastiff has been with her since she was born. Brownie is not the issue; it is our Mastiff, and we are fearful that something bad will happen to this amazing dog if we are not around. Due to various issues that have become known about the Mastiff we are unable to rehome her due to size and social behavior. Brownie is amazing with our 7 year-old daughter. We just want to make sure she finds a family who will love her as much as we do!

Story
Jax is a smart good working dog but needs stimulation and attention very loyal not destructive won’t tear up your house but NEEDS to be in a home with no other dogs. He is being rehomed after several attempts to help his issues. Over a year ago he was attacked brutally by a stray dog since he HAS been fearful of other dogs and also lashes out at other dogs. We have other dogs in the home and we are worried it will escalate He would do well on a farm working does good with people loyal and protective. He would do well as a companion dog as well with someone who just wants a good dog to spend time with. He is very smart and trainable already knows how to take direction. He is the sweetest boy and we are devastated to do this but he is unhappy and needs the one on one attention may possibly need anxiety meds to help. Will make a great dog with a bit of love care and effort

Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wichita Falls, TX Meet Jolie! She is an 6 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 19 lbs. She is up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t spayed. Jolie is nervous around strangers! She is good with kids and cats! No smaller dogs, due to her reactivity! Jolie wasn’t socialized while in her previous home, so she has some leash reactivity. She is fearful of bigger dogs and will need slow introductions to any dog that she meets. She is housebroken (for the most part and will let you know when she needs to go out) and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering her because she plays too rough with their other dog and her other dog is afraid of her. The owner is also expecting a new baby and won’t be able to provide the time and attention that Jolie needs. She needs to find a new home by 8/25. If you think you can provide a great home for Jolie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Jolie. Owner’s Contact Information: Cassandra cassie.sue.carpenter@gmail.com

Story
Meet Maple!   Maple is a fun-loving, smart, and energetic girl who is sure to brighten up your life! She’s always on the go, playing with her furry friends for hours, and when she’s finally ready to wind down, she loves curling up close to her people or finding a quiet spot under the bed to rest.   This high-energy pup thrives in a home with another playful dog to match her enthusiasm or with an adopter who is home often to keep her engaged. She needs plenty of activity and companionship to keep her happy.   While Maple is full of life, she’s still learning some important doggy manners. She can get a little too excited with humans and needs guidance to play gently and respectfully. Her ideal family will be patient, consistent, and ready to help her grow into the well-mannered pup she’s meant to be.   She’s still a bit unsure about the leash and car rides, but with time and positive reinforcement, she’ll gain confidence. Maple is eager to please, especially when treats are involved, and she takes them gently like a true lady. She’s also great about letting you know when she needs to go outside by going to the door for potty breaks.   Maple has no issues with resource guarding and happily shares her toys with other pups. She loves meeting new people and is always excited to have company over, though she doesn’t quite understand “stranger danger” yet. More socialization will help her feel confident in new environments.   If you’re an active family with a big heart and the time to provide Maple with the training and engagement she needs, she could be the perfect fit for you!
