What have you heard about Aussies? Smart? Yes, that’s Lucy! Trainable? Definitely Lucy! Good with children, other dogs, and cats? That describes Lucy! This adorable Australian shepherd mix is everything one might want in a dog: loving, intelligent, eager to please, quick to learn, gets along with everyone. Lucy comes when called, sits on command, and is currently learning other commands like “wait” and “stay.” This sweet girl loves to wrestle with her canine siblings, she is eager to go on walks, and she enjoys car rides, especially when they end with her getting a pup cup! However, Lucy’s favorite activity of all is to snuggle with her humans. Lucy will need someone who has the time for both activity and extensive together time. She definitely has some separation anxiety, although like every other lesson, she is diligently working on getting better. She can now sleep in a crate all night, but she is ready to be with her humans as soon as they start stirring. Lucy is not destructive, but she gets extremely stressed when left alone for extended periods.
OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention.
