My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mitty is at our shelter. We are not yet open to the public (but will be on 2/6!). Please submit an application from our website and email dogs@heartlandanimalshelter.org to set up an appointment to meet her!

We rescued Mitty from Chicago Animal Care and Control back in September, after seeing her precious little pouty face looking so sad in the cage! We could not leave her behind. Mitty was adopted but sadly recently returned to our care.

Mitty is loving playgroups at the shelter and would thrive with a dog buddy in the home. She walks great on a leash, too! She is sweet, energetic, and fun-loving. As much as we enjoy having her at the shelter and gazing upon her beautiful underbite we would much rather see her back in a home.

We hope you will ask about her today!

Mitty's adoption fee is $250. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
