Buster Douglas is a playful, toy-loving sweetheart who’s ready to bring joy to his forever home! He greets you with soft eyes and a wagging tail, and while he’s strong on the leash, his enthusiasm is part of his charm.
Buster loves toys and will happily entertain himself or bring them to you for a playful game of fetch. He lets out little grumbles during play- all in good fun- and he’s quick to trade toys for treats.
Buster is sweet, friendly, and loves to be with his friends. If you’re looking for a cool pup with a playful streak, Buster Douglas is your guy!
Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Buster Douglas at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Volunteer noted 1/12 : Buster Douglas is a playful and spirited boy. For him, it seems the world is his playground. He's curious about all of his surroundings, seeking toys to play with. Buster Douglas was excited to try to play with snow, pinecones, rocks, and even plastic bottles. He tested out all of those items not showing much interest, but he was ecstatic to finally find his favorite kind of toy: the squeaky toy. Buster loved tossing and whipping the squeaky toys in the air and would then would sometimes drop them in my lap. Buster was very gentle when approaching me for pets and enjoyed being scratched all over. Buster sits for treats and gently takes them. He was very easy to manage on our walk, and it was fun to watch how happy he appeared to be when sniffing out and discovering new playthings. He's an exceptionally sweet and joyful boy. He was easy to leash to remove from the kennel, and I had no issues returning him. When I did first approach his kennel, Buster was sitting by the door. After I returned him, he sat as if waiting for me to take him out again.
Per Volunteer 1/11/25: Buster Douglas was so sweet and wiggly! He greeted me with a wiggly and loose body and easily leashed. He walks well with just minimal pulling. So affectionate and wiggly! He loves taking pets and being close to you. He’s a very playful boy- loves squeaky toys and romping around the yard. I think his nose is bleeding. Loves to romp and play and seems like he’d really enjoy a yard to run! No issues returning to kennel.

He likes to play with toys on you but its very sweet. He will trade toys for treats and do some low play growls. He is very patient and calms down after some time of play.
