A24733 Ace is approximately 3-year-old, 73-pound, neutered male, American Pitbull Terrier. He entered the shelter due his owner unable to care for him. He was neutered by our medical team.
Ace entered the shelter with another dog, Angel, and gets along with her well. We would love to see them get adopted together but it is not mandatory.
Ace is a smiley, very friendly and outgoing boy. He is eager to leave the kennel, easy to leash, and a good boy when being walked. He has some basic manners. He doesn't get aroused by other shelter dogs walking by his kennel. Ace is ready to find a forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
