Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A25096 Arlo is approximately 1-year-old, 63-pound, neutered male, American Pit Bull Terrier.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender because they could no longer keep him. He was neutered by our medical team.
Arlo was an outside dog, and it shows. He is shy when you first approach him and hesitates to leave the kennel with you. Once on a leash he will walk a few steps then just "pancake." He will need a patient owner that can show Arlo what a loving home is all about. He does want affection and once you start petting him he just melts into you. Arlo seems intimidated by the other shelter dogs. A meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog at home.
