Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A25147 Sheryl is a tan and white colored, approximately 1-year-old, 60-pound, spayed female, Pitbull.
She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 01-21-2025 due to the fact her roommate left the dog behind, and she cannot take her where she is moving.
Sheryl is a friendly, happy, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff says she is a happy go lucky, friendly girl, who loves people. She is eager to get out of her kennel and is right at the door waiting for you. She was easy to leash but is a strong girl who pulls in excitement. She wants to meet everyone, very friendly with people and she wants to smell all the other dogs. Seems to have a friendly interest in other dogs here, no aggression seen. However, the previous owner did say she did not get along with her dog and they had to watch them when they were together. The previous owner also said she is house broken and lived with other dogs, cats and children. She believes Sheryl would do best in a one dog home. She also said that she chased the cats. She has had some training and will “sit” upon command but has a short attention span and the sit doesn’t last long. Sheryl will be a fun-loving family member in her new forever home.
