My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simon is a tuxedo-clad gentleman with a big personality - and an equally big presence! Recently arrived from Shasta County, Simon is a whole lotta cat to love and he’s ready to charm his way into your heart and home. With his formal black-and-white coat, he’s dressed to impress, but Simon doesn’t take himself too seriously - he’s as playful and down-to-earth as they come.

Simon’s motto might just be “go big or go home.” Whether it’s batting at his favorite toy, soaking up head scratches, or claiming the comfiest spot in the house (he will make it fit), this big boy doesn’t do anything halfway. And when he’s not exploring his surroundings, he’s all about curling up with you for some quality cuddle time - he’s basically your own cat-shaped weighted blanket.

Simon is looking for a loving home where he can show off his larger-than-life charm and make you laugh with his playful antics. Ready to welcome this oversized bundle of tuxedo-clad joy into your life? Come meet Simon - he’s proof that bigger is better!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
