The day after Christmas some Grinch dropped off these 5 beautiful babies at the Speedway gas station. They were only about 9-weeks old - barely able to be without their mamma, who was not with them. Two little girls and 3 little boys. ♥️ The wonderful people at the gas station took the box in from the cold and called around to find help. Of course, one of our fosters stepped right up! They have now been fully vetted. They have all their age appropriate vaccinations, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped and they are now ready to go to their forever homes! If you would like to add one of these babies, please respond by tapping the big black button marked " Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These puppies are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Max was found in a lady's barn on a cold day last week! He was looking for shelter and had made him a bed in the barn. He had an owner at one time as he had a shock collar on that had embedded in his neck. He was taken immediately to the vet and underwent surgery and is all better now! His neck wound is healing nicely. Max has been aged at approx 3 yrs old and weighs 32 lbs. He was such a good boy at the vet and they said he didn't even bark the whole time he was there. We are so glad Max found his way in the lady's barn because he will never wander again on his own looking for shelter. He will be warm and cozy from now on! Max is housetrained and walks good on a leash. He would make a great partner for walking, jogging, running, or just cuddling on the couch watching it snow. Go ahead and apply for this handsome good boy!! Max is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Hutch is a 8 wk nugget, adorable little mixed breed puppy and we think he is so cute we can hardly stand it! He is well socialized, friendly, loves to play with his dog friends, LOVES people, and is just generally a very good time. Hobbies are napping, eating, finding mischief, and stealing kisses! Waiting for his forever home This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. Story
Khalua is a 5 month old female Beagle mix who weighs around 34 lbs. This sweet girl was surrendered back to us due to no fault of her own after her owner just didn’t have time to care for her anymore. Khalua is a loving pup who is great with other dogs and loves people. She’s a smart girl who loves to sniff and explore her surroundings. She’d love to find a family who will keep her forever! Khalua is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/
