Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She has a lot of love to give to someone who can give her a chance.May came into rescue during COVID with her puppies almost 4 years ago. She has seen so many foster puppies come and go through our barn and continues to patiently wait for her turn for a family of her very own. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. Hi there! My name is Poppy! I was surrendered to RASKC when my previous owner could no longer care for me. Now I`m on the search for a new home! I`m a very sweet and outgoing dog! My previous owner said that I lived with cats and am house trained. Here in the shelter I keep a nice, tidy kennel! In my prior home, I was not a fan of small children so I would do best if my new home has older, dog savvy kids or is an adult only home. I`m still working on my basic manners and should be consider somewhat a puppy. I have a lot of learning left to do! I weigh 55lbs and am considered a medium size dog. I will not get any bigger. I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other similar sized dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.
