Hi there! My name is Poppy! I was surrendered to RASKC when my previous owner could no longer care for me. Now I`m on the search for a new home! I`m a very sweet and outgoing dog! My previous owner said that I lived with cats and am house trained. Here in the shelter I keep a nice, tidy kennel! In my prior home, I was not a fan of small children so I would do best if my new home has older, dog savvy kids or is an adult only home. I`m still working on my basic manners and should be consider somewhat a puppy. I have a lot of learning left to do! I weigh 55lbs and am considered a medium size dog. I will not get any bigger. I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other similar sized dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.

Meet Jessa the Joyful Wiggleschmoopsie! She is currently 8.5 pounds, 9 weeks old, and we think she may be a Black Mouth Cur/Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! Meet Daisy! Daisy is a beautiful 3-year-old, 45-pound Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love and energy to share. She adores dogs and kids, making her a perfect addition to a lively home! This sun-loving girl enjoys lounging outside, running around, and car rides—even after her recent surgery, she handled the trip like a champ. Daisy’s playful nature shines brightest with her fur brother, though she sometimes forgets to pace herself when he’s ready for a break. She’s still learning that not every dog appreciates her enthusiastic jumping, but her excitement is all part of her charm. Daisy is potty trained, knows how to sit, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate—even if she’d rather keep playing at first! During the day, she’ll sometimes choose to nap there on her own. She’s learning leash manners, but her zest for life makes outdoor adventures very exciting, so she’s working on not pulling so much. She absolutely loves being petted, though she might get a little jealous if another dog gets attention first. Her response? Big, loving eyes that earn her pets every time. When she met her foster mom’s grandsons, Daisy was all wiggles and kisses, showing how much she adores kids. Daisy loves toys but sometimes thinks anything on the floor is fair game—she’s learning to tell the difference. Meet May! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life.
