Story
Say hello to Gunnar!Gunnar is thought to be a Border Collie mix. He is about 3 years old. He did come from a home with another dog his size, but he would need to go to a home with no small animals or toy breed dogs. He needs some patience and guidance from an understanding owner. Gunnar is heartworm positive, but don`t let that scare you! HATS- Helping Animals to Survive, is willing to donate towards Gunnar`s treatment. If you use their recommended vet, their donation covers the entire treatment!

Story
Dash is a sweet 1 1/2 year old boy rescued from a shelter. He is a cuddle bug that loves to receive and give affection. He is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and leave. We would love to keep him, however he does not get along well with our other dog. He would do best in a home without other dogs. We are unsure of how he would do with small children. Dash tested heartworm positive and is currently on medication. He will need additional veterinary care for this very treatable condition. He is has a huge heart and is wonderful with humans, he just needs the right pet-free loving home where he can thrive and give LOTS of cuddles. Please contact if interested!

Story
Meet Daffodil! This 9-week-old spirited pup is as scruffy and adorable as they come! We believe she might be a Border Collie mix but one thing we know for sure is that she’s full of personality and ready to find her forever home! Daffodil can be a little nervous at first, taking a moment to warm up to new people and situations but with the right patience and love, she will blossom into the sweetest companion. She’s currently working on her socialization in foster care and is making great strides. Daffodil is a sensitive soul, so a quieter home would be ideal for her—loud noises tend to startle her. We also think she would thrive with another dog in the home to show her the ropes and provide some comfort. She’s catching on to potty and crate training but like any young pup, she’ll need an adopter who is committed to keeping up with her routine. Daffodil is exploring the world with her mouth, as most puppies do, so some redirection and positive reinforcement are helping her learn what’s appropriate. If you’re looking for a sweet, scruffy companion who just needs a little time and patience to shine, Daffodil may be the perfect fit! INTERESTED? Story
Friends, this is one great dog! He is super smart, and seems to learn simply by absorbing what his owner wants him to do. He knows many commands. He is very athletic and energetic. He gets along great with other dogs, so he can go to a dog park with no problems. His current owner has a 15 lb. chihuahua, and you can see in the video, Vader plays gently with her and seems to know instinctively how much playing she can take. Vader loves to play in the water. You can take him to a restaurant or bar. He is very affectionate with his owner For more information or an adoption application, please contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com. We need an email address to send you the adoption application.
