Friends, this is one great dog! He is super smart, and seems to learn simply by absorbing what his owner wants him to do. He knows many commands. He is very athletic and energetic. He gets along great with other dogs, so he can go to a dog park with no problems. His current owner has a 15 lb. chihuahua, and you can see in the video, Vader plays gently with her and seems to know instinctively how much playing she can take. Vader loves to play in the water. You can take him to a restaurant or bar. He is very affectionate with his owner For more information or an adoption application, please contact Nancy Foltz at 704-616-4904 or NEFoltz@Yahoo.com. Story
Please contact foster at amykdong@gmail.comSweet Miss Laila is a bundle of sweetness. This sweet pup has endured trauma, but it doesn’t stop her from being the biggest love bug! According to a concerned citizen, Laila’s owner fell ill and Laila escaped through an open gate. She was found a stray on the streets of Charlotte. While fending for herself, she became pregnant on the streets. She was almost full term when she was spayed and her babies terminated. After her surgery, Laila experienced a seizure in her kennel. She was found unresponsive on the cold, hard kennel floor. She came to and seemed fine. Laila was soon taken into foster care. Her first foster only had her for a short time, but it was there that she bonded with a stuffed squirrel. Laila took that squirrel everywhere and groomed it like the puppies she had lost. Soon after, she was moved to a second foster. After a month, she was unable to stay in that home. I am her third foster. Sweet Laila has blossomed in our home. She is perfectly house trained, can be left out (no crate needed!), loves kids, dog friendly, and literally the best snuggle bug ever. Laila loves to be around her person. She will sleep on the bed with you or in a dog bed next to your bed. She will patiently wait for you while you are out and about and is always excited to see you when you come home! She now has a Baby Dino that she grooms and takes everywhere. She is a true mama pup at heart. Laila would love a furever home. She is the sweetest pup who truly just wants to be loved. Miss Laila is also a girls’ girl and would prefer to be adopted by a female or a family. •House trained•Can be left out at home alone•Dog Friendly•Kid friendly•Loves her walks•Walks well on leash•Likes to chase chipmunks, squirrels and bunnies•Best Snuggler•4 yo•45 lbs

Please contact my foster at kimberlyedupuis@gmail.comWhitley is a handsome, soft coated, friendly dog who loves everyone he meets. He has been in several different homes while trying to find his forever people and got great reviews. He has been in daycare and boarding and is wonderful with other dogs. Because he has been moved around a lot, he needs somebody who is going to be dedicated to giving him daily exercise and attention and downtime as needed...for the rest of his life.-house trained-crate trained- good with kids- walks well on leash- cat curious but not aggressive- loves all people, very snuggly and affectionate- Will require a medical waiver for adopter to further evaulate with their vet regarding a possible need for an `elongated soft palate` repair.

Story
Ruby is a sweet, fun loving, young female Border Collie mix that is looking for her forever home. She is 2 yrs. old and weighs 26 lbs. Ruby is a very high energy youngster that is enthusiastic about everything! She loves to play fetch with her foster family, along with rough and tumble races with her Border Collie and Aussie foster home buddies. Ruby loves to go for hikes in the woods and for walks in the neighborhood. She loves to stay close with her people, share lap time, snuggles and belly rubs! She walks well on a leash and rides well in a crate in the car. Ruby loves to explore new adventures but is sometimes insecure when meeting new people or dogs. She has shown some fear and reactivity toward young men and small children by barking and will need slow introductions. She has lived with other dogs and got along well with them, and currently gets along well with her foster family’s two dogs. Ruby has not been tested around cats. She has a high prey drive around squirrels and rabbits, so will probably not be a good fit with cats or other small animals. Any children in the home should be at least 12 yrs. old and understand how to interact with a herding breed dog. Ruby sleeps in a crate overnight and while she’s home alone up to four hours. She has shown some separation anxiety from time to time while home alone. Ruby was new to being an indoor dog and has learned most house manners since being in her foster home for the past several months, but will need continued supervision and training. Ruby is eager to learn and is easily corrected with gentle, clear, communication and positive training methods. The best home for Ruby will be with calm owners that are home a lot, have a fenced yard, have time, patience and knowledge of herding breeds and know how to accommodate their high energy. She will also do well with a well-balanced dog playmate with a similar play style, high energy level, and size. A good introduction to the adopter’s dog(s) and family members is required before adoption. Ruby has been fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and current on heartworm and flea & tick prevention. Ruby is being fostered in Fort Mill, SC, in the Charlotte, NC metro area. If you think Ruby will be a good fit for your home and family, please fill out an application with Australian Shepherds Furever. If Ruby sounds perfect for you , please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
This beautiful girl is called Kenzie and she is a Border Collie mix  from what we can tell due to her size, temperament and the very silky soft fur that adorns her.  This girl is about 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds and is such a spunky and active girl that is happy, charming, and ready for any adventure that you want to ask her to join you in.  Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of  neglect.   Our girl Kenzie is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Her persona is one of vibrance in life and resilience, topped with confidence.  She adores other dogs, young children and never meets an adult stranger.  She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other.  Her charming personality is bold, happy and full of smiles and energy.  She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good love to others and good love will come back to her.And that is what we have promised her at Critter Cavalry Rescue. We will not settle for anything but the best. Our hope is that she will have a home filled with laughter and activities thar also include a home with a fenced yard, and long walks or jogs, along with excursions in the car that the best of great outdoor events. She brings great karma to all who meet her.   If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained and undeniable beauty, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. She is located in Nashville, TN and able to transport on a weekend to the northeast to a new family. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 19, 2025, 1:04 pm

Story
This handsome scruffy black and white darling boy is called Ross and we have determined that he is a Border Collie/Border Terrier mix that is estimated to be 5 months old and weighs 14 pounds and destined to be around 35 pounds as an adult.  This boy and his sister, Rachel, were abandoned in a small rural area of Tennessee at a cabin that was a parttime retreat for a family that lived 200 miles away.  Fortunately ,the cabin’s doorbell camera  caught these puppies being abandoned and alerted the property owner that these poor puppies were in trouble with no food or water anywhere around.  To make matters worse, impending frigid weather was on its way to their area.  The doors opened and rescue forces got to work quickly to go and pick up the puppies and carry them to a Critter Cavalry Rescue foster home.   This puppy and his sister are both smart and anxious to please.  Ross wants to be someone's special Valentine. He is crate trained and learning what it's like to be in a warm and loving home.  It's hard to imagine that only 2 weeks ago some cold-hearted person dumped him and his sister Rachel to possibly die from lack of care or food.  God was with them in finding immediate help and they have been worth every effort.  So sweet and loving and innocent.  Beautiful pups with wiry faces and sleek Terrier bodies that bring a smile when you meet them.  Ross is being neutered on Feb. 4th and will be ready for a forever home on Valentine’s Day.  We estimate that he will grow to be a 40 pound handsome boy that will bring so much fun, love and adventure to the person or persons who adopt him.  If you are wanting a wonderful rescue puppy to raise and love then please consider Ross.   Critter Cavalry Rescue transports from Nashville, Tn to the northeast and of course local Tennessee adoptions are welcome, too.  Please email asking for an application to ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 11, 2025, 9:45 pm
