Hello, This is Marceline, she is just about 7 years old and we think some kind of Collie / pit mix of some type. She is a sweet dog with people and loves to run, but also snuggle up under the covers with you. We have had her since she was a puppy and she knows most of her basic commands. Over the past year, she has started becoming aggressive to our other dog. We had separated them and tried working with her to eventually try and re-introduce them at some point, but it has come to the point where that is no longer an option. Our hope is to try and find a home for her with someone who doesn't have any other animals and is experienced in handling a dog with this kind of issue to allow her to have a less stressful and more fulfilling life. She just went to the vet yesterday and got updated on all her shots and was given a clean bill of health. She didn't have any outward aggression toward any of the other dogs there, however we did not let her get close enough to interact.

There are special dogs in this world. You know them when you meet them. Just like people,Kaye they are all special for their own reasons. Our blue eyed Kaye is a former mama dog that had several litters before she was two years old. Down in a very rural area of Tennessee, we had apparently helped an earlier litter get adopted out after they were found on an isolated country highway. They looked exactly like her, but yet we did not know who or where she was yet. Six months later, Kaye was discovered by an older couple that had found the previous puppies, and she was very pregnant again. We are adopting those puppies out now and they are precious like their mom. Blue Eyed Kaye probably had never had fun in her life until she came in to our foster care. Now she's having the time of her life. She's able to play and be loved and have fun. Being a stray for most of your life and having litter after litter of puppies with nowhere to go, is pretty sobering. Her beautiful blue eyes now dance with joy and delight as she plays with the resident foster dog who is half her size. Kaye is a Border Collie, Aussie and Pointer mix. She is around two years old and 47 pounds. This girl learned the doggy door within hours of arrival and she definitely hates crates. GOOD NEWS IS.... when left out during the day, she does not destroy a thing. She is very respectful. This girl has just the right energy for playfulness, and then chill time. She loves all creatures and would be a great family companion who would be wonderful with children. She can live with other dogs or cats. Or she could be a single family pet. All Kaye wants is love. This handsome black and white darling boy is called Ross and we have determined that he is a Border Collie/Border Terrier mix that is estimated to be 12 weeks old and weighs 14 pounds. This boy and his sister, Rachel, were abandoned in a small rural area of Tennessee at a cabin that was a parttime retreat for a family that lived 200 miles away. Fortunately ,the cabin’s doorbell camera caught these puppies being abandoned and alerted the property owner that these poor puppies were in trouble with no food or water anywhere around. To make matters worse, impending frigid weather was on its way to their area. The doors opened and rescue forces got to work quickly to go and pick up the puppies and carry them to a Critter Cavalry Rescue foster home. This puppy and his sister are both smart and anxious to please. Ross wants to be someone's special Valentine. He is crate trained and learning what it's like to be in a warm and loving home. It's hard to imagine that only 2 weeks ago some cold-hearted person dumped him and his sister Rachel to possibly die from lack of care or food. God was with them in finding immediate help and they have been worth every effort. So sweet and loving and innocent. Beautiful pups with wiry faces and sleek Terrier bodies that bring a smile when you meet them. Ross is being neutered on Feb. 4th and will be ready for a forever home on Valentine’s Day. We estimate that he will grow to be a 40 pound handsome boy that will bring so much fun, love and adventure to the person or persons who adopt him. This beautiful girl is called Kenzie, and she is from what we can tell, a border collie mix that defies definition in character and charm and intelligence. This girl is approximately 4-5 months old.And weighs twenty eight pounds. Her adult weight should be about 45 pounds.Her story is not uncommon in the south, but it definitely was one of abuse or more accurately qualified as neglect. She was located in a very small pin that was outside with very little cover. No straw low temperatures and food thrown on the ground without a bowl and frozen water in the water bucket her owner was actually homeless and not even in the area due to illness. We expected a very emotionally damaged girl as well as physically harmed, but that was not the case. Our girl Kinsey is a survivor and a brilliant puppy. Full of life and resilience and confidence. She adores other dogs young children comma is fine with cats.If that is what she needs to live with. She has beautiful eyes that are the color of blue in one and brown in the other. Her charming personality is bold happy and full of smiles an energy. She embraces life with the full expectancy that she will give good and good will come back to her.And that is what we have promised her at critter cavalry rescue.
