Story
We have had Oliver since he was just weeks old and he has always been such a loving pup. He was given to my daughter by a friend. He has always been an indoor dog and he was potty trained pretty easily. He is great with children, as long as we had him never had issues with him. He loves attention and for people to pet him. He is not a barker, only when he wants to get someone's attention or when he really needs to go potty. He has been around dogs but gets a bit nervous with bigger dogs. Although we marked him as a border collie, because that is what his paperwork says, he is mixed with another breed, not sure what it is. Our family loves Oliver, we are just in a different season in life and our family situation has changed. Our schedules have gotten pretty busy and my daughter has gone off to college. We have tried everything we can but we are at a point where we feel like he needs to be with someone who can attend to him and give him the love and care that he deserves.

Story
Midnight and his sister Maddy were born under an abandoned house. They had little chance for a good life in a bad neighborhood. We took their Mom and her pups to save them from starvation and life on the streets. Dad is unknown but pups are not large for their age. We think they will be Moms size (about 50lb) or smaller. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Panda is almost 2 years old. We found him and 2 others on the side of the road when they were about 3 months old. We took them in to foster for a short time to ensure that they were healthy and loved while the shelters were full. We are hoping to get him to a home where he will be able to run around, get his energy out and explore. He is very sweet, playful and loves attention and being pet. He gets along well with dogs and cats. He is also good around children. Panda has never been a single pet in a household so we are not sure how he will do as a solo pet. He is up to date on shots and does well at the boarding facility with other animals. Loves: -playing in water -getting toys out of the bin -getting treats for doing tasks -observing you cook -being on a schedule Dislikes: -eating around others

Story
Meet Rex – Your Loyal Companion Awaits! Rex is a special 8-year-old dog with a heart full of love to give. He was adopted from the Dallas Animal Shelter as a tiny two-month-old puppy and has been a faithful friend ever since. Unfortunately, his life took a turn when his owners were displaced, and he found himself living under a car for a long time. But even after enduring such hardship, Rex’s sweet nature has never wavered. Rex is a 40-pound boy who walks beautifully on a leash, goes into his kennel without a fuss, and has a calm, quiet demeanor. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, making him a remarkable companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. He’s also the perfect size—not too big to be in the way, but just right to snuggle up with you on the couch. While Rex did test positive for heartworms, he’ completed his 3 shot treatment. During this time , until Feb 1st., Rex will need a calm environment, but with his laid-back personality, this should be no problem at all. We’re committed to helping Rex find a loving home where he can experience the comfort and care he deserves. Rex is looking for either a forever home or a foster home where he can stay safe, warm, and loved. He’s spent too much time without the comforts of a home, and it’s time for him to know what it’s like to be cherished indoors, whether it’s in the cool air conditioning during the summer or by the heater in the winter. Please consider giving Rex the life he’s always deserved. Meet this incredible dog, and you’ll see why he’s one of our favorites. Fill out an adoption or foster application today, and let Rex show you the true meaning of unconditional love. Adoption fee is $225 Dallas TX https://chloespetrescue.org/application

Story
Rehoming 8mo 42# Australian shepherd pup due to trip & fall hazard. He fought off a coyote (scar resembles attacker) and found his way to my house at 3 months, gaping wound, flea-ridden, severely malnourished, and we nursed him back to health. We have 4 dogs, my family of 5, my senior mom and disabled sister and can’t keep this high-spirited dogo. He knows basic commands and is highly intelligent, kennel trained, loves to chase a cat laser until the battery dies, eats every meal like it’s his last. He gets along with all dogs and kids, wants to play with cats (they do not reciprocate the sentiment) and is a fabulous ratter. He loves water and thoroughly enjoys our kiddie pool. He has soft curly fur and hardly sheds. He would do well in a home with kids or active adults (basically anyone without a disabled sister and wobbly senior mom). If you have room in your heart and home, give this boy a shot!

Story
Hi! I'm Salsa! I'm an approximately 5 month old, female, Queensland Heeler mix who weighs 41lbs. I was surrendered by my finder on 01/06/2025 because they could not keep me. I was part of a litter of 6 puppies that was found and now it is just me and my sister. I love attention and love to be praised! I am a good girl looking for a furr ever home. I have grown up around other dogs but if you have one in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I love to run and play and love kids. I play hard but nap even harder. As soon as I wear myself out during play time, you can find me snoozing on something comfy. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters! Meet and greets are by approved application. Please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with next steps!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
