Story

Sarge is a great dog, but I think he would be happier with ahuman who works from home or another dog friend. He knows sit, but is still working on other commands, he loves to snuggle, no aggression (and I have manhandled him), great with kids, cats, other dogs, new people, sights and sounds. He heels on a leash with minimal pulling if he sees a new friend, housebroken, working on crate training (he knows it means we're leaving so he doesn't want to go in). He's really smart and likes puzzle toys. He comes with a new wire crate, two dog beds, raised bowls, food, treats, toys, leash, collar, harness, poop bags dumpster (so you don't have to carry the bag). He is a really great dog, pretty calm indoors, likes to fetch but won't "drop it". Loves to be with his people and I feel bad for crating him during the day. He was with other dogs previously and I think he would be happier with a friend, but he would also be great with a human companion that is home more often than not.

Meet Bella, the charming and spirited pup who's sure to steal your heart! With her love for playtime, especially with well-balanced rescue dogs, Bella would happily spend all day frolicking in the yard. This smart girl isn't shy about expressing herself, and while it took her a bit to warm up to us, we know she'll do the same with her new family. Once Bella recognizes you as a friend, she'll shower you with affection like no other. Crate time is a breeze for Bella, though doggy beds don't stand a chance with her playful nature—they quickly become toys to shred! Highly motivated by treats, Bella responds well to training and is quite adept on a leash, although she can get easily distracted. A gentle leader might be the perfect tool to help her focus. Bella prefers the comfort of her own home and will need some encouragement to fully appreciate the joys of a walk. She tends to get anxious around other dogs during these outings, often voicing her excitement a bit too loudly. Remember, no rescue animal is perfect, but Bella's incredible qualities far outweigh her quirks. She's eager and ready to find her forever home with a family who understands and loves her just the way she is. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Darling Chowder is also known as Mr Sweet and Gentle. He’s just a little over a year old and currently weighs only 48 lbs. He will be nicely filled out at about 55lbs. Chowder is such a gentle tempered, somewhat submissive boy that loves to meet new people. A socially active home would be ideal. He also thrives on his playtime with other dogs so another dog in the home would be best. He even gets along with the kitties. At some time in his early puppyhood, Chowder received an injury to his front elbow. It has fully healed, although the bone is a little displaced. This has caused one front leg to be shorter than the other so he does walk with a limp. He definitely does not know something is out of place because he loves to run and wrestle with the other dogs in his playgroup. According to the orthopedic specialist, he has no limitations when running around a yard or going for walks. He may even go hiking, but no jogging for this boy. With regular potty breaks, Chowder is doing great with his crate and house training. He must have a securely fenced yard and kids must be over 10yrs old.
