Hello, my name is Choco. It kind of sounds like taco. I am a friendly gentle, outgoing guy who loves all animals. I love humans and car rides too. A great day for me with be one with my human either hanging around the house or adventure wither on a walk, by car or watching a movie together. I do this cute thing where I like to move the bowls as "settle hints" that they are empty. The humans think it's hilarious. If you let me, I will snuggle up next to you on the couch and pretend to be a tiny dog that can fit in your lap. I am house and crate trained, pretty amazing on leash, so they say. I can play on my own or with others too. The rescue is not sure how we haven't found a family for me. They say I am a great dog and think maybe it's because my size, but hopefully someone who is a match for me and loves my SUPER HANDSOME smile will come along. Oliver is a sweet 9 months old beagle mix who was rescued from an abandoned building of Houston. Oliver is a very adorable and loving puppy, who sleeps from 9 pm to 6 am without a peep. He is used to being by himself as his foster parents work. He lives with two doggie brothers but has not been tested with kitties. He is still a puppy, so he has some puppy energy and is playful. He is also trainable as he is very intelligent. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Oliver is currently about 35 lb and fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He may grow up to 45 lb. Hi! My name is Penn and I am available for adoption.I`m an easy going dog here in the shelter, and not much is known about my past. I can be a bit reserved at first but I promise I`m very fun once I warm up! I keep my kennel clean which suggests I do have some prior potty training but my new family should be prepared for a learning period when I first come home. I came in originally with another dog and I`ve met other dogs in playgroups! I would likely enjoy the company of a furry friend in my new home, but you can always bring your dog to meet me at the shelter just to be sure. Ask my caretakers more about my playgroup dates to get to know more about me!I am considered a large breed dog.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

MEET BEAUTIFUL TILLY, the biggest snuggler ever! Tilly is a beautiful black-and-white 4-year-old Boxer/Pit mix girl who loves, loves, loves to cuddle on the couch or the bed, gaze into your eyes and show affection. She also loves to give hugs, and is a Velcro dog through and through. She does love to play with male dogs, but wants to be the only dog in a home because she gets jealous and has resource-guarding tendencies with other pups. Tilly will do great with an active person or people who love to go for hikes, walks or other outings. She's a typical goofy Boxer mix full of life and fun. At home, she'll be thrilled to sit on your lap and watch television. She's extremely smart, attentive, and enthusiastic, and will make a great dog for a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. She weighs about 68 lbs. HI - I'M BENJI, a sweet & gentle 4-year-old Boxer-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. I was initially rescued from a crowded California shelter, and later was attacked by another male dog at a boarding kennel. Despite my tough luck, I'm doing great and am no worse for wear. I've healed nicely and am ready for the next chapter of my life -- a home to call my own. I am very much a couch potato dog in that I love to lounge on the sofa or sleep on your bed. I am a huge snuggler! I have also done well with other dogs. I am quite affectionate, and love belly rubs. I am also an active, strong boy so I need a strong owner, and someone who can take me for walks, hikes and other outings. A big, fenced yard would be a plus, but is not a necessity. I weigh about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.
