Story
Darling Chowder is also known as Mr Sweet and Gentle. He’s just a little over a year old and currently weighs only 48 lbs. He will be nicely filled out at about 55lbs. Chowder is such a gentle tempered, somewhat submissive boy that loves to meet new people. A socially active home would be ideal. He also thrives on his playtime with other dogs so another dog in the home would be best. He even gets along with the kitties. At some time in his early puppyhood, Chowder received an injury to his front elbow. It has fully healed, although the bone is a little displaced. This has caused one front leg to be shorter than the other so he does walk with a limp. He definitely does not know something is out of place because he loves to run and wrestle with the other dogs in his playgroup. According to the orthopedic specialist, he has no limitations when running around a yard or going for walks. He may even go hiking, but no jogging for this boy. With regular potty breaks, Chowder is doing great with his crate and house training. He must have a securely fenced yard and kids must be over 10yrs old. If you would like to meet this wonderful boy please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number.  Adoption fee is $450August 19, 2024, 11:27 am

I'm Benny, a bouncy, lovable 3 month old Boxer/Catahoula mix, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home. If you're searching for a furry friend who’s full of energy and affection, look no further—I’m your guy! I may still be a pup, but I’ve already mastered the art of being adorable. My Boxer side gives me an extra dose of playful spirit, while my Catahoula genes bring a dash of cleverness and a love for adventure. Whether it’s chasing after a ball, exploring the backyard, or curling up for a nap after a day of fun, I’m all in! Here’s a little about me: Playtime Enthusiast: I love to romp around and play with toys, so I’d thrive in a home where I can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Social Butterfly: I get along well with other dogs and enjoy meeting new people. My wagging tail and happy demeanor make me a hit with everyone I meet! Cuddly Companion: After all the fun and games, I enjoy snuggling up with my humans. I’m looking for a family who will shower me with love and attention. I’m looking for a family who’s ready to provide me with the care, training, and love I need to grow into a well-behaved and happy adult dog. In return, I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless puppy kisses! Benny is located in San Antonio. Story
Special Considerations: no other pets, available for permanent foster Meet Tesla! This snuggly girl was dumped by her breeder and has been with us her entire life! She is the most loving dog you will ever meet and quickly became a staff favorite. She has a neurologic disorder that causes fecal incontinence, but she’s very familiar with diapers and prefers to go outside. She loves chasing water from the hose and chewing her toys, but she really loves cuddling up on your lap. She doesn't like to share her people or things so she needs to be the only pet in the home, but she’s the best cuddler with her favorite people. If you’ve been looking for the most wonderful and wiggliest boxer, Tesla is your girl! Tesla is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
