Story
Cabana is a very sweet and loving calico, still a baby herself, that was found at the splash pad in Miami next to a frozen drink stand. She was very pregnant and no houses were close by. The owner of the Frozen drink stand is the one who found Cabana and rescued her and contacted the MAA. She was prepping to have her babies in a hole under an abandoned building right before some big storms were moving in. Luckily, we got her into rescue before the storms hit. Her little hidey hole would have been flooded out if she had stayed there. She was in rescue barely 24 hours relieved to be warm and safe before she had her 1 single kitten.Cabana has been a great mom to her 1 baby, but in less than a week after having her kitten Cabana took in two more kittens to raise as her own. Even as her kittens grew when they were close to 5-6 weeks she accepted two more kittens around 4-5 weeks of age to come in under her motherly protection. She has been such a hero with these kittens that lost their mom.Cabana is very talkative and loves attention. She loves to rub her face on yours and either lay on top of you or right next to you. She also loves some catnip toys that she can kick at. She is litter boxed trained and loves canned cat food. After all of the rescuing Cabana has done, she deserves her own family to love now.Cabana has been on her own with her babies, we do not know how she does with other cats, dogs or kids. She uses the litter box well. Can be adopted solo or with a bany Dreamsicle, Ron, Ginny, Stormy or Sky. Cabana vetted ie spay, vaccines, rabies, dewormed, flea treated, etc.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple.
