Rocky is 8 months old and loves attention/affection. I got him from a neighbor but he had fleas, eat mites and a bad eye. I took good care of him for past 6 months but now I am traveling a lot more for work. He loves to play and cuddle. He can be pretty shy at first but he then warms up. I want him to be able to have a home where he can either be with another animal or where there are more than one person living in the home. That way, if someone is gone, he can still have company because he gets pretty sad alone. He is super sweet and loving!

Story

Freddie was adopted as a kitten from a humane society, and has been a wonderful cat. He is loving and purrs nonstop. He also makes a cute little chirp when he wants a treat. He is great with kids and other animals. The only reason we are looking to rehome him is for his own wellbeing. We are in a house that is very busy- 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats. The other cat is 17 and is definitely the main guy. It just seems to be a bit overwhelming for him, and we think he’d be much happier and less anxious in a less hectic environment. He startles easily here and bolts from the room whenever there’s any stimuli. We think he is very on edge here. We’ve even had him on kitty Prozac, but it doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. An amazing cat, but he needs a more chill environment.

I met Becky when I moved into my home nearly 14 years ago. She was living outside and would come around from time to time and I would feed her. She's Maine Coon with a lot of pretty, long hair, but frankly I have no idea her real gender. She's a community cat whom I've fed and sheltered for many years. After I moved in, there was a terrible thunder and lightning storm and I was so worried about her that I called out to her and actually risked running out in my patio to find her to no avail. Next day there were burnt tree limbs scattered in the yard, charred black from the lightning. My neighbors mentioned the next day that they heard me yelling for Becky to come inside. And Becky did come, and as she's aged, she's been inside withe me for many years. She's very soft-spoken, gentle and affectionate if she's approached slowly and with care. I would love it if I found a loving foster home for her whilst I'm in transition.

We adopted Wadsworth from a foster rescue organization in July 2017. He and his litter mate were rescued as kittens from an abusive home. Wadsworth has always been shy and skittish, but is gentle and affectionate. For several years, he integrated well with our other cats, and appeared content. In January 2020, his personality changed, and we're not sure why. There were no changes to his environment, and frequent vet visits confirmed he has no health issues. Wadsworth became reluctant to interact, and began spending his days in isolation. He acts out by urinating inappropriately. We've tried everything: separate living space, additional litter boxes, cat trees, anxiety meds, and pheremones. Unfortunately, the reality is that Wadsworth is unhappy in our home. It breaks our hearts, but the best thing for him seems to be re-homing. We hope to find a new owner that can give him love in a low-stress environment. He really is a sweet boy that just needs some peace and love.
