Story
Meet Teddy, a big hunk of love waiting for his forever home! Teddy was being cared for by an elderly couple that were also taking care of many other cats, both inside and outside. Teddy was born to a stray cat the couple was caring for and they raised him in their house. Teddy is very people-oriented and likes sleeping with his foster mom on her bed after about 10 minutes of pets and lovin'. He is chatty and likes attention from people. When his people are away he spends time sleeping in a private corner so he is not disturbed or playing with a catnip kicking toy. Teddy does not do well with other cats that have "big" personalities like him, but gets along with submissive cats. He would do well as an only pet or with a dog. He would do well with children of all ages but should not be picked up unless by an adult. Teddy was recently diagnosed with arthritis in his spine, which requires a monthly shot to manage. Teddy also needs a raw diet because other cat foods tend to upset his system. Freeze-dried raw food is readily available, shelf stable, and easily prepared - just crumble and mix with water. His special dietary needs took him out of consideration for Meows Corner cat cafe, so he is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt. Teddy was born April 10, 2016. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Story
Braveheart is a somewhat neurotic girl with a very nervous personality. Therefore she must stay with her mother to feel secure. She will often stay hidden somewhere throughout the day, but becomes your best friend at meal times! She becomes talkative and seeks pets and kisses and rubs against your legs when the food arrives. Myra is a sweet little lady who was trapped in a local neighborhood with her 4 beautiful babies. She did a great job raising her kittens and has learned to enjoy the easier life inside a house. Myra can be found rolling around chirping and purring and enjoying long pets down her back, but has her moments when she'd rather be alone. These girls do not want to be picked up but will share space near you. They will play with wand toys with their humans and bat small toys around the house. This will be an important routine since Myra LOVES to eat and has packed on some weight since coming inside. They love to bask in a sunny window! They would appreciate a quiet home without children or dogs, and having humans who can understand and respect their body language. Myra's estimated birthdate is 9/24/2021. Braveheart's estimated birthdate is 5/2/2022. They have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLv. ******* Please note: 4Paws will only consider local adoptions (Northern VA / DC / MD metropolitan area). 4Paws does not adopt to students. All kittens under 6 months of age must be adopted into a home that already has another young cat/kitten; otherwise, must be adopted in pairs with a littermate.

Story
Beacon is really just a big goofball and a little awkward when he plays. He has a tendency to fall off furniture and run into walls because he's so focused on his toys! But he keeps coming back for more fun! His favorite toy is a feather wand and jumps up and down if you flap it for him! Beacon loves a good back scratch and being told what a good boy he is. He snuggles close on the bed at night and is a master at making biscuits! But he does not want to be picked up and will let you know you have displeased him. He uses his litterbox well but he insists that it be kept tidy at all times! He loves his family but they get a little annoyed with him. He could be adopted with his sister, Briar Rose (who tolerates him best), or with another cat to keep him company. He may be ok as a single cat as well if he's given plenty of attention. He would prefer no small children or dogs, and humans who understand how cats can be. Beacon's estimated birthdate is 5/2/2022. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLv. ******* Please note: 4Paws will only consider local adoptions (Northern VA / DC / MD metropolitan area). 4Paws does not adopt to students.
