Story
Stormy's cat mama abandoned him when he was just a week or two old! I took him in and bottle fed him, now he is four years old. It's a very hard decision to be rehoming him, but I'm struggling with some health problems and I'm over committed with pets. Stormy gets along well with my three dogs. Additionally, Stormy loves under the chin scratches, snuggling in bed, and laying on the back of the couch watching TV with me. He's super chill, and doesn't get into things. Except he does steal my ponytail holders! Lol! He gets playful at times especially in the mornings. Truthfully, he would probably play more often if I had more time to dedicate to him! That's what I want for him, someone that has more time to dedicate to him and his needs. He's a sweet boy and would make someone who loves cats a perfect new suggle buddy!

Story
Sheena is a very special cat who has been waiting a very long time to find her forever home. She has a mild heart condition and doesn’t like to be around other animals, which has made her difficult to place. Sheena is about 7 years old now but she’s still very active and playful. She loves her wand toys and laser pointer and spends lots of time looking out the window or climbing her cat tree. Sheena has her own room in her foster home with toys to play with and a window with a view, but what she really wants is a home of her own with a person she doesn’t have to share. Sheena was rescued in 2015 from the Fort Worth shelter while nursing 8 kittens, not all of them hers. She was a good mom but when she was done she (understandably) really wanted her own space. Sheena is very social. She purrs easily, loves to be petted, and even enjoys visits from her foster mom’s young nephews. Sheena does have a temper and gets nippy when she is displeased, but she doesn’t do any real damage. Like many cats, she also dislikes car rides. Sheena has mild cardiomyopathy, meaning a slight thickening of the walls of her heart which causes it to work harder to pump blood. Her condition has been unchanged since it was first discovered and has been fully checked out by a veterinary cardiologist. Sheena isn’t on any medication and has no symptoms from her condition. Her cardiologist thinks she will likely remain stable for years since she has been for so long. It’s recommended that Sheena have blood work done every year to monitor her her condition, but otherwise she lives a very normal life. Sheena is a wonderful and sometimes difficult cat with a lot of personality. She has waited a long time but hasn’t given up hope that someone will take a chance on her. Story
Meet Leigh! She's a sweet, super affectionate little girl who was born in April of 2016. Leigh is a quiet, gentle girl who loves to be petted and will roll around in her foster mom’s lap to be sure she doesn’t miss a spot. In her sillier moments, Leigh likes to chase her tail. She gets along with other cats, though she’ll hide from them if they’re mean to her. Leigh would love a home of her own with windows to look out of and a warm lap to cuddle in. Story
Minnie is a friendly, playful tabby calico girl. She was born July 21, 2015 in a Buddies Place foster home. Minnie was adopted as a kitten, but had to be returned when her adopter moved and couldn’t take her. She loves to play fetch, especially with toys that bounce to make it more challenging. Minnie is also very affectionate, happy to cuddle and be petted. Minnie has had to have some bad teeth removed, and may need periodic dental cleanings to help prevent future problems. She is doing much better now and is a very healthy girl. To adopt her please email us at contactbpcr@gmail.com or fill out an application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-JB #BuddiesPlace #CatRescue #Catadoption Updated: 5/10/19

Story
Missy was born in August 2019 in an auto shop. She grew up in foster care with her mom Shelby and her three siblings Dottie, Sammy, and Henry Ford. Missy is the smallest of her litter, but also the bravest and most adventurous. Early on this tiny girl established herself as the first one to do pretty much everything. Missy leaps high in the air to catch mousies and fishing pole toys. She actively seeks attention from her foster daddy and likes to get in his way when he is doing things. Missy is very sweet and affectionate when she is not in hyper mode!  To adopt her please email us at contactbpcr@gmail.com or fill out an application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-MG Updated: 1/25/20

Story
Dottie was born in August 2019 in an auto shop. She grew up in foster care with her siblings Missy and Henry. Dottie is very curious and playful. She loves to chase laser dots and images, and she will literally flip for the fishing pole toys. Dottie was named for the cute orange dot on her head and has beautiful orange bands around her sides to complement the dot. She doesn’t mind being picked up and held and likes laps. She has an adorable squeaky meow. Dottie is sure to provide years of hearty laughs and love.  She is always curious about new cats and is one of the first to greet other cats.  To adopt her please fill out an application at http://www.buddiesplacecatrescue.org F-MG Updated: 2/22/21
