Rocko is a 3-year-old Chihuahua weighing approximately 10 pounds. His owner was moving and unable to bring him. She said he was fearful and unsocialized. He would frequently hide from them. He has improved greatly with us, but he still is not totally trusting. He will need someone who will take it slow with him and be patient. He may snap and try to nip until he gets to know you and trust you. We think he will be best for someone with a fenced yard. He likes to walk on a leash but it's best to get to know him in a fenced yard then leashing him will be more comfortable for everyone. He has bonded with our rescue manager. It just takes him a little time. If you are tender-hearted and can go slow, please come meet this boy a few times. He will be worth the wait. He tends to attach to one person and they can do no wrong in his eyes. He is affectionate but when he has enough, he will let you know. He has to be the only pet. His adoption donation is $150 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Spirit is a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 14 pounds. He is a lovable, friendly, happy boy who gets along well with the other dogs, but he has not been cat or kid tested. He’s a spunky boy who doesn’t act or look his age. He has a grade 5 heart murmur and due to that as well as his age, the vet feels he is not a candidate to be neutered. He does have an exempt waiver from the vet. He is currently in a foster home but he is anxiously waiting for his forever home. The foster said he is the perfect dog! His adoption donation is $100 which includes his vaccinations and microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She was our sons dog and he got quite sick but has recovered at home with us but had to go back to Minnesota to Mayo Clinic for follow up with health , has a new job and travels a lot and we cant give her the time and attention she deserves we are older and can’t give her the attention she should have , we are now having to help watch our granddaughter and she is extremely allergic to her so we really need help to find her a new home .

Meet Doug! This handsome boy is a heart stealer. He is about 6 months old and fully vetted. He will only need a heartworm test. His leg was broken and we thought it might have to be removed, but the vet said it's good for now. He doesn't have full range of motion and might end up with arthritis as he ages. So he will need an adopter who is willing to keep an eye on that and know that he might cost a little bit more down the road. He will need a home with a fenced in back yard and most importantly a home where he's allowed to sleep in bed with you every night. He's been way spoiled in his foster home.
